As a result of new management, my stay at the inn was comfortable and pleasant. My room was clean, the staff was courteous and helpful.The cleanliness of the grounds enhanced the beautiful view overlooking the hudson river. “A Beautiful Location”

I've stayed in many hotels in the Hudson Valley, but this one takes the cake. Room condition and cleanliness are fair, but the gorgeous views of the surrounding scenery make this place well worth staying at. If you are visiting West Point, it is a quick (but dangerous!) drive away and is much prettier and better than the closer hotels.

Great views of Hudson. 17 minutes from West Point Academy. Not roomy, but comfortable and clean. Nice restaurant. Good deal.

“Beautiful location!”

This hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the Hudson. My room was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The only negative was the antiquated plumbing in the shower. The nobs were old, and difficult to adjust, the water dripped after my shower. My experience was way more positive than negative, and I would recommend the hotel even with the outdated plumbing.

“Lovely views over the Hudson River”

A pleasant motel, beautifully situated high above the Hudson River - with distant sounds of freight trains pulling in to the local station that conjure up American Westerns of our youths! We arrived very early to check-in, but the receptionist did her best to make sure our room was ready for us as soon as possible, which the maids had beautifully presented, including towel origamy in the en-suite! Unfortunately, the room was rather small and it was difficult to find anywhere where we could place our suitcases. Otherwise, a most comfortable stay, and the price did include a good complimentary continental breakfast - this was taken at reception and, again, it did lack space and some guests couldn't find seats. The motel is situated within walking distance of the town of Peekskill, which did sadly appear to have suffered from the recession, though the townspeople seemed to have pride in their town and were trying to bring it back to prosperity again.

“Very small rooms”

The room was very tiny, airconditioner very noisy. Mattress very old and with a big dip in center. The room was clean. The view of the Hudson was beautiful. We were visiting family and only stayed 1 night. If the mattress had been better that would have been a big plus. Back very sore the next AM.
