Very Nice Stay in a Really Old HomePosted Apr 28, 2015
Not often one gets to stay in a 1700"s house and this one is circa 1749! Lots of updates through the years, but the character and old home charm remains. Very pleasant stay and excellent breakfast. Will return when the opportunity arrives.

quaint and quietPosted Jul 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
The house and owner are 1st class. The town didn't offer much but our room and private bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner was charming and gracious. She made us a timely homestyle breakfast.

Comfortable great breakfast gracious hostPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
We ended up arriving a little late - called ahead and Phyl was available to let us in and offered us some iced tea (very appreciated considering how hot it was). The Roses room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was parfait and quiche and was delicious. The house was very unique (mid 1740s, I think). Our room was on the road side, so we heard a little traffic noise, but it got quieter later on. I would recommend this for anyone traveling in the area.

Nice B&BPosted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very comfortable. It was my wife's and my first B&B experience and was enjoyable. The property was well-maintained and clean inside throughout. Awesome quiche and fruit for breakfast.

Great Stay!Posted Jun 24, 2013
We were in the area for a lacrosse tournament and need a room. My son was a little iffy about it but it was a great experience. The room was clean and confortable the breakfast was delicious (real men do eat Quiche) and Phylis was very nice. We would stay there again.

Interesting bed and breakfastPosted Jul 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
The experience was different from other B&B's I have stayed in. When we arrived, there were no towels in our room. That was quickly taken care of. The room was comfortable, but after going out and returning, our air conditioner was shut off and some of our belongings had been gone through. We didn't plan on swimming in the pool, but if we had, we couldn't because the water was green. The breakfast and decor were exceptional.

Surrounded by TrashPosted Mar 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is surrounded by trash. Saw a junked car behind the hotel. Would not recommend staying here.

Lovely stay at the Isaac Hilliard HousePosted Aug 12, 2011 on Hotels.com
My wife and I had a lovely time staying at the Isaac Hilliard House. Charming, homey and warm. The proprietress makes wonderful breakfasts and makes a real effort to make her guests feel comfortable. A place with a soul.

Enjoyable EveningPosted Jun 7, 2011
We stayed in the Raspberry Room. Comfortable queen bed, plenty of space for 2, bathroom was a little small but adequate. Innkeeper was very nice and helpful, thought this was a great B&B.
