Choose this hotel for PBIMPosted Nov 18, 2014
We had chosen this hotel for the participation of the PBIM. Large room, comfortable king size bed, complimentary coffee & tea and additional wafer snack, which most hotel does not provide. Many parking space. Good for family. Please with our stay in Alora Hotel

Pros: Size of the room.
Cons: Speed of processing at Receiption (Lobby).
Location: Convenient shops, Subway, Mamak, Japanese Restaurants etc. nearby. Kompleks Bukit Jambul within walking distance.
Stayed for 2 nights for business trip. Room is big (see attached photo), and Cleanliness is acceptable. Nice night view on the Bayan Lepas area. 7-Elevan and restaurants within walking distance (<100meters). Overall a nice & convenient place to stay. Value for money.

Decent hotel with spacious rooms.Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Spacious, comfortable rooms.
Overall, hotel deco and condition notably not as fancy or new as shinier hotels like Parkroyal or Shangri-La, but definitely acceptable considering their cheaper prices. Lobby is an average size, and comfortable. Hotel staff was OK. Room corridors rely at least partially on outside light and so may get a little dark at night, but not uncomfortably so. Rooms were exceptionally spacious. (The rooms we stayed at was a room for two; king sized bed) You could easily have fit in an extra two roll-away beds (if staff allowed) and still have ample space for walking around/luggage placement. Room decoration is sparse, carrying only the necessary furniture, however also has a nice, airy, clean feeling with it. The wooden flooring, light-coloured walls and bright lighting probably contributed significantly. It was a nice change from dim hotel lighting and heavy carpeting. Bathrooms are notably a little more run-down (staining in corners and edges of sink/toilet, etc), but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Facilities were all clean. Complimentary instant coffee, milk tea and small breakfast cereal packets provided, which was nice. No restaurants or places to eat within the hotel itself, but there's some Indian restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Subway, Pizza Hut and a few other places up to a 10-15minute's walk away from the hotel, depending on your speed.
