“Very friendly Hotel, would definately go back”
Although its an hour from the airport this is an excellent hotel.he staff are friendly the pool and gardens are very good, and the beach is fine.The breakfast is phenominal, I never needed lunch.There is plenty of evening shopping outside the hotel and plenty of good restaurants

1.We were offered a room not as agreed upon with Expedia , not coastal view and not delux . We had to spend the first night in a grim room ! After long discussions and arguments we were offered a better room . The hotel is very old and not up to the stated standard ! The internet is not wireless and slow. The services are bad . Please do not recommend it to others although its location is magnificent.

“Excellent Hotel”
Excellent hotel. Room was a little small but very clean and comfortable. Service was great, breakfast and dinner buffet were a blast, facilities e.g. pool, lounge, bar, restaurants, beach were all very good.
“Very solid 4 Star choice”
-Be aware a " Deluxe Coastal view" is looking OUT of the resort and I had paid extra to find my room faced north, yes to the coast but to a bunch of shacks too. I was only offered to pay the full difference to upgrade to a "deluxe seafacing" which I did. The view, of the pool and the grounds and the beach and coast were well worth it. The place is spotless and pools and grounds very well kept, but other than food items it is very generic: you could be at any beach resort anywhere. Buffet breakfast and lunches were fine with pots of coffee on each table in AM. Everything was comfortable and although a bit old very well cared for but again, lackluster. Staff is a bit stiff and rarely was there the unsolicited "Good Morning", etc. Considering my other stays in SE Asia it was very 4 star and did not feel like particularly good value for the money. I will concede it was less pricey than the more upscale accomodations down the beach. There's plenty right outside the door for dining and shopping. No loungers on the beach where becasue of jelly fish you are not permitted to swin until March. Disappointing.
