Ok for quick overnight stay

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Our first time in Hermiston so just selected an inexpensive motel. The room was very small. It did have a fridge and microwave, but the door on the latter was cracked and iffy. Overall clean enough but obviously an older establishment. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice for a quick stay

Posted Feb 24, 2015
The room was a bit cramped, but nice. Inside was nicer than the outside. The heater worked extremely well, and the beds were way more comfortable than normal cheap motels. The only downside is the maid came in when we were sleeping. We didn't have the "do not disturb" sign on, but it wasn't past check out either. Other than the staff, we had a pleasant stay. Cheap, but good for a short stay.

Refused to Stay Here

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Nothing but the price
Cons: Staff, location, cleanliness
Location: It is in an industrial like area. Doesn't appear very safe.
This hotel is in the middle of a seedy neighborhood (from the appearance - not from here) and from the comments I heard from the people staying at the hotel we actually chose to stay in, this area has a lot of break ins and thefts. The guy that came out to assist me was rude and gave the appearance he didn't care. Chose to forfeit the $50 dollar rental and went to a more expensive hotel a couple miles away.

Pros: Not much, really. Location, I guess?
Cons: Clean the place from top to bottom. Get new towels - mine were dirty
Poor, sadly. The room's cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The towels had stains on them and were practically thread bare. Being near a stairwell, the lingering smell of cigarette smoke was off putting.

There was no breakfast!!

Posted Jan 1, 2015
We checked in late and left early in the morning. No problems in particular with the checkin or checkout. In the morning, THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST. I had booked this hotel in particular since it promised free breakfast. And all there was were 3 muffins and some stale orange juice, thats it!! That was the entire breakfast for everyone!! Extremely disappointed and felt cheated.

You get what you pay for

Posted Dec 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
In town for 48 hr refresher class. Just needed secure place to sleep, clean up and keep stuff. Building is old, worn but serviceable. Bathroom small enough you had to step out into room to change your mind. But water was hot and the toilet flushed. A/C worked and the TV had sports that kept my roommate happy. Only issue was having to get the room keys reprogrammed every night the last 3 days.

Room was cozy, but the bed was hard and lumpy. The coffee maker didn't work and the bathtub drained very slowly. The heat worked very well though, and check in and check out was quite smooth.

Filthy floors & threadbare towels

Posted Dec 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
The carpets in the room were filthy. There were several sarcastic signs posted in room stating charges for items in room if missing, such as sheets, towels, blankets, alarm clock & TV. They were rude at front desk checkin & at breakfast. There was a sign in breakfast room that said 'Do not touch this refrigerator ' Towels were dingy & rather threadbare.
