“Hope to go back someday”

The stay was pleasant but too brief. There is a lot of stuff we'd like to explore further in that area, and this looks to be a wonderful base of operations.

When to go
Most any time of year would be the best time. There are lots of interesting things to do in the area. The scenery is spectacular!

“Better than some 4 star hotels”

We were a bit apprehensive about staying at a Best Western in a small town. But it was the only hotel in that immediate area. The rooms were very large, and spic & span. Small micorwave and frig in our room. We have stayed at other hotels around the world that were rated higher than this one, but were not as nice, clean, large and safe as this hotel. Highly recommend this place!

“Will stay again!”

Wonderful hotel! The young ladies at the front desk were terrific. They were able to provide menus for all area restaurants. They called ahead for reservations. Their recommendations were perfect. I was pleased with the hotel. The service was stellar.

Area recommendations
Try the Essenhaus. Homemade meals + good service + reasonable price. The people in Penn Yan were very nice and very welcoming.
