“wonderful hotel and friendly helpful staff with great breakfast”

The Hotel was great. It was very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is great right on the beach. The hot breakfast was good. Coffee was available all day long. STaffw ere greata bout giving directions and helping out. Rooms were clean and all have ocean views. You cannot go wrong with this hotel. We will always stay here in pensacola.

“Great customer service, great breakfast, great location, affordable rates”

This was my second time at this hotel and I was met with the same impeccable service as I was the first time. All of the staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The grounds, the rooms, and the lobby where all extremely neat and clean. Every room had a spectacular view of the gulf in which the hotel was stationed directly on the beach for easy access. The location was perfect for the person who wants to be close enough to the main public area but far enough away from the crowd to feel like you are in a private area. The heated pool was extremely clean. The breakfast was spectacular with a wide variety of offerings that were constantly refilled and always at the right temperature. You could eat as lite or as heavy as your hearts content. What I found to be the best little touch but yet the most memorable, was the selection of family board games available for use nestled within a wide selection of books for everyone's reading pleasure. Located in the back of the wide open and spacious front lobby were conveniently located tables that could seat several people who wished to participate in the board games. A great family atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone taking a short weekend get away staying out at the beach.

It is really a great place, great price and right on the beach. My husband and I don't have one complaint!...spotlessly clean, extremely friendlly staff, heated pool...great free breakfast...I could go on and on. Anytime we visit my family in Pensacola, we will stay there.

only complaint was the cleaning service. they either came when we were still sleeping or at the end of the day when we were back from the beach and showering. they got in only one day. they did knock and ask if we needed anything which was a plus. other than that all was nice

“On the beach, great hotel”

I was reluctant because this was a Holiday Inn. I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in more than 25 years. They were always adequate but more Motel 6 than a nice place to stay on vacation. What a suprise! This hotel was perfect: Right on the beach, Staff as helpful as anyone could want, Room large, clean, secure, Free full breakfast on the patio until 10:00am, Popcorn on the same patio in the evenings. All with a view of one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.

“Pensacola Beach's Best Stay”

Visited area several times and must admit this has been the most pleasant stay yet! Service was outstanding, staff attitude Exceptional! complete experience with visit over and above expectations. Hugh thank you to staff for making our visit so comforting. I will visit the area again, looking forward to staying with Holiday Inn Express again.

“Loved the semi-seclusion and the ocean views!”

Very clean. Every room has an ocean view and we loved being able to listen to the relaxing sound of the waves by cracking the window open at night. Each room has a balcony and since the pool is to the side of the hotel, it's really relaxing to sit out there. That side of the island isn't very developed (yet) so it added to the peacefulness. The service was friendly. The maid somehow learned that he had a son and left a plastic bucket and shovel for him in our room with a nice note. That was very unexpected and appreciated. The breakfast buffet was nice & included eggs (I think they change the type of eggs each day because one day is was a cheese-stuffed omelet & the next day it was scrambled eggs) and sausage patties. Muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal, & more. They have warm cookies on the front desk counter in the evenings! The room was very nicely appointed. The coffee/tea set up is nice. The beds were on the soft-side though, which we do not prefer. The hotel lacks a restaurant/cafe though so you have to go out for meals. The hotel lobby is nice & has a library corner with board games too. Nice, heated zero-entry pool with fluffy towels available at Front Desk. 2 small pet peeves: the smoke alarm blinks constantly and it can be an annoyance when you're a light sleeper. The mini-fridge is placed inside a "hutch" which amplifies the humming of the motor a bit. Remedied by leaving the window open to hear the ocean.

“Extremely friendly and Excellent hotel”

This was my first time staying at this particular hotel. The staff more than exceeded my expectations. Anything i needed any questions i had, there was someone waiting and willing to help. After i arrived and spent just a few short hours, i realized i wanted to lengthen my trip another day. The staff helped to find a way to make it possible for me to stay another night past my reservation, and even be able to stay in the complimentary suite they gave me. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, i especially enjoyed the cinnamon rolls!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel in this area.
