Mediocre staff. Disgusting room.Posted Jan 3, 2014
I stayed there 2 nights. Staff was not very friendly at all both days. It wasn't just one person, I saw 3 different staff members. Carpet was old and stained up throughout the hallways and room. Sheets and pillowcases wrinkled up and stained. Smelled like mildew and dirty clothes throughout the room. Bathroom looked like it had not been swept. All appliances were old and some had rust spots on them. Old television. Will be looking somewhere else at that price point next time I stay on the area.

The room smelled like wet dog.Posted Dec 29, 2013
The room smelled very bad, and every time the air kicked on, it smelled like a wet dog. The bathroom did not seem all that clean, and there were not enough towels.

Cons: See above under experience.
Location: Yes... The stores and places to eat was closed by.
The room I had at first was no heat . They were nice about moving me to another room . Some of the outlets didn't work. Compliment breakfast, the juice machine , coffee machine didn't work. The staff were very pleasant.

Great location, gracious staffPosted Dec 15, 2013
Cons: The smell of the hallway was offensive
Location: It was only 5 minutes away from the PCC college where we were visiting and Interstate 10 was only minutes away as well.
My son and I were in the area to check out a local college so we needed a place to sleep and not much else. We found the hotel staff to be some of the most gracious folks around, always willing to help out and trying to meet all of our needs. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the house-cleaners came in daily to make the beds and give us fresh linen. Most hotels won't come in on the 2nd of 3 days to do this because they figure you can reuse your towels and it was a real pleasant surprise. The room did not smell but the hallway was somewhat strong. This is probably due to the fact that they allow animals in the hotel. The room had and iron and board, a microwave, fridge and the wake-up call was right on time. Highly recommended and economical.

Close to five flags race trackPosted Dec 11, 2013
Location: just went to race track
Great, I needed a room on first floor since all that was there were stairs. They were willing to work with us, but it would have taken longer for us to check in and we were tried. They let us check in early so I could rest The staff was great and helpful.

DisappointedPosted Dec 10, 2013
Pros: The staff
Cons: Everything cosmetic and cleanliness
I have stayed at this hotel before, but this will be my last time. It gets nastier every time. Staff was very pleasing and helpful, but the room was nasty, had little bugs in it, carpet was gross. I went and got Clorox and febreze just to get it to where I could stay in it. Not sure why it's progressively gotten worse, but someone needs to take note and give it a makeover.

Lots of wear & tear, but functionalPosted Dec 9, 2013
Cons: Needs major renovation.
Location: Attended the Snowball Derby stock car races at Five Flags Speedway
It's OK for someplace to sleep, shower, etc. Most items were functionally OK. Lots of wear and tear evident, so it's deteriorating. Safety latch on door broken. Deodorizer smell in hallway carpeting. Sagging mattress. AC was OK at night, but marginal during the day. Decent value for the small price.

Horrible!Posted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room smelled like cat urine and cigarettes. The room said it was non smoking but clearly was not. The door on the room looked like it was kicked in at some point as well. Look like this place also rents to people who live there. We always bring our own bedding but the bedding they provided was torn and very worn out. The mattress was also ripped. I have stayed at cheap places before but this place was insane.

I knew I wouldn't be getting top notch quality with the low price I paid. It was generally nice. I did see a small cockroach in my room. Good thing I'm not screamish.
