“Just OK”
I love the Marriot chain, so I may just have too high of expectations. Compared to most of their properties, I felt this one was a little off their excellence mark, but overall it wasn't bad. The staff, as always, were wonderful. The room had a bit of a fishy smell when I checked in, although that could have been from the last guest, as it cleared up by my second day. The room was a bit on the small side, and the shower was just a shower (no tub). No huge deal, but there were NO shelves in the shower. That means no where to set shampoo, body wash, etc. There is a tiny soap dish for bar soap, but all my other stuff stayed on the floor of the shower. Full fridge, stove top, big microwave, medium sized TV (which really can't be viewed comfortably from any angle). Breakfast was snack bars, yogart, fruit, cereal, milk, and OJ. No hot tub. The pool seemed a bit small, but I never went in. The fitness room was a bit sparse, but it was enough to get me going in the morning. Overall, I've stayed at much worse places, and if I HAD to return to this hotel, I wouldn't really mind.
“Needs Some Improvement”
The hotel is new and convenient by the Interstate. Staff is friendly. The only concern was the new flat panel tv in our room would not work. It took a couple of days to get it replaced by maintenance as the hotel was full, and no back up tvs were available. The breakfast was convenient, but we had anticipated more than cereal and yogurt. Pets are allowed and a very friendly environment for the pets. The pool is not heated, but it was nice to have a drink by it to relax. Overall, I would still go back.

knowing up front that they didn't change out the sheets would have helped. when we needed new towels, instead of saying we will bring them right up, we had to go get them at the front desk, same as new sheets, was not impressed, but other then the heat control of the room, it was hard to control,only one register in the room, i was satisfied with my stay.
“An Affordable and Centrally Located Pensacola Hotel”
The front desk receptionist, from San Diego, was very hospitable and welcoming upon our arrival. We were impressed when we unlocked the door to the room and relaxed on the comfortable bed. Some of the features were a kitchenette, flat screen tv, pool view, large bathroom, and bright colors and modern decor as well. Too bad the University Mall wasn't more exciting.

Did not received a hotel welcom., front desck person to rude or to tired? hollway carpet not clean all weekend, all others good!

We stayed for 4 days. The desk staff was good and helpful. The halls and elevator were clean. The room was a suite. It was a little small but functional. There was a refrigerator, sink and cabinets, a work desk, chair and bed. Big screen tc was on a dresser and was at an odd angle if you watched from bed. The bathroom was large. Housekeeping was fine. There was an outdoor pool but we never got the chance to use it. Parking was ample. We found the location convenient - near enough, yet far enough from the airport and close to the intersection of the major interstates. There was a bagel shop and Waffle Houses around the corner for breakfasts. The rooms were relatively quiet although we did hear noise form a neighboring room and some kids in the pool, but it was nothing to be concerned with.
“Excellent service and well located for quiet break”
This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. My wife and I travelled from Houston complete with two dogs and we were wanting a hotel that provided self catering facilities and that would accept pets. The hotel is well situated for access to downtown and the beaches, and although close to a main street was remakably quiet. A few minor problems with the room were corrected instantly by extremely friendly and helpful staff; nothing was too much of a problem for them. Great value hotel that I would strongly recommend to others if you want to cook for yourself.
