Excellent Location
Excellent location right across from the lake. Very clean. Free and convenient parking. My only complaint was the mattress was sagging in the middle and should be replaced.

Nice place, filthy apartment
Nice place, great location. The rooms themselves had all we needed, however the apartment smelled and we had to febreze the place. The floor was filthy and our socks were black after walking around on it. We stayed in room 131, and it could really do with a proper clean. The restaurant on the corner was very nice.

A Beautiful little motel with very nice staff. The room was very clean with new floors, bathroom, and kitchen. Walk across Lakeshore Dr to the lake boardwalk. Fantastic all around.

As always expected, the room was clean and was perfect as we had our own patio to do some bbq. Derrick and the young lady (Shannon??) at the front desk were super friendly. However, Barbara, I find, was kind of rude. She doesn't know how to approach customers properly. She yelled at us for taking towels out of the room to use for cover when it was raining as we did not have umbrella. We would never take it with us; we are not thieves. Instead of yelling, she could have at least just called one of us and talk to us in a proper way. She also had a problem with me taking my dog in the office, without a lease. I know my dog and will never let him out without lease; however, he followed me without knowing when I was checking in. Barbara needs to learn in dealing with customers in a proper way. She is the opposite of Heidi, Derrick and Shannon (sorry, I cannot remember the name, I am thinking Shannon?? - courteous friendly and approachable.

The bed was old, worn out and tired. Serious weakness in the middle. Squeaked something fierce, like the old coils had seen enough. The TV remote never worked and tou coildnt change channels. I mean who cares, tv was watched on my phone. But since the staff said they knew this was a problem before and never fixed it, then acted like they tried to fix it and couldn't. Then told me to go to the SHAW webpage to program my own remote (still didn't work) AND then said they would fix it the next day and did nothing, not even notify the next days staff, complete disfunction. Small time motel over charging guests.

Nice place right across from the beach. Room was spacious and had all the amenities you could want, even a private deck area. Older, but comfortable and a fair deal. Will stay there again

place needs a serious facelift. Smells old.. Pretty clean. Check out time 10a.m. isnt great nor the 4p.m. check in. I would not recommend or go back. I stay in penticton every year and this was the first time at tiki. Most all the motels are older, but have upgraded. This place has done little. The staff wasnt very pleasant or accommodating.

I liked that it was a great location, very accessible to the beach area. Was Disappointed in the cleanliness Of our room floors walls and sofa We're dirty dusty and stained. I didn't feel like I wanted to touch anything in the room.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was fine. The bed was comfortable. We liked the lake on the doorstep and being able to go for walks. In addition, walking to the main street for coffee, etc... and very close to the hockey rink for our son's game. Staff was friendly.

Room with a view!
Loved the room! We were in a room at the front. Amazing views on the lake! The room appears to have been upgraded recently. It was really clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was handy. Only downside, the window blinds were damaged and did not close well. With the lights outside, it was not very dark for sleeping. Blackout blinds would be a good addition. Otherwise it was nice and quiet. The location is perfect for enjoying downtown Penticton. Easy walking to the brewery district. Check in was extremely efficient and friendly. Would definitely return!

I feel that the property could've had a bit more TLC given to it. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't a dream spot either. My bathroom fan took, without exaggeration, 3 minutes or so to get up to speed, and one of the bathroom lights didn't have a cover (aka there was exposed parts & likely a decent bit of dust and dirt). The bed was comfy enough, but they had a sign at the kitchenette sink stating that if you didn't do your dishes, you'd be charged $25 on your CC (which makes sense). What didn't make sense was that there was no dish soap. There was also a single, 2ft baseboard heater that worked, and a 4 or 5ft one that didn't. Again, not a terrible location, but will likely stay at the Ramada next time as the price seems to be comparable.

Not a bad little place for one of the oldies. Clean. Great location. Not happy that they expect guests to wash the dishes or guests will get a $25 find when we are in covid. I didn’t use kitchen because I don’t know who cleaned the dishes and if dishes were cleaned properly

Great location and the room was very bright and clean. It was quite small, which was reflected in the price. i would like to return to the hotel and pay more for a larger room. It is the best accommodation we have ever found in Penticton.

If you are looking for location, this place is excellent. Right across from the lake and close to downtown and many great restaurants. Where it falls down (at least in room 209) the property is not only very dated but it's also is sad need of maintenance. I can handle dated as long as it's in top shape. I couldn't believe how worn the furniture and counters were. Missing base boards in the bathroom, dim light bulbs, yellowed shower curtain furniture desperately in need of restaining....these aren't big cost items and wow what a project it would have been during COVID lockdown! This suite had an adjoining bbq area, which normally would have be giving big thumbs up but due to a low area there was a large puddle right where the table was so basically unuseable. I'm a pretty easy to please guy but it really annoys me when there's so many maintenance issues
