Nice

The website said it would have a deep tub. It was a stand up shower. I was looking forward to a nice bath. :( Other than that it was awesome! Loved bed! So comfy!!!!

Nice hotel.

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Free shuttle service. Free parking and valet available. Great beds. Comfortable room. Outstanding customer service.
Cons: Refrigerator in the room, I found out later one could be requested. The floors are not marked in the garage and it is difficult to find your car.
Location: Great location downtown, close to everything.
Two couples, Two rooms, no problems. We attended the August Irish festival, we were taken to and picked up by free shuttle service. We did not have to worry about driving or parking. The driver was very helpful with directions, dining and entertainment suggestions.

Walking Distance to the River Walk Area

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Updated Clean.
Cons: I was told to stay away from the bars across the street from the hotel and by the looks I would agree.
Location: 3 block walk to River Walk and close to the Caterpillar museum.
Was not sure what to expect for my first time in Peoria. Pleasantly surprise at the quality of the hotel. The food and bar were excellent in what they offered. I would suggest that you try the roasted tomato salad.

Great location. Friendly staff.

I was pleased with the easy fast checkin. The staff at front desk are very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by a refrigerator in my room. The only bad thing was the aggressive housekeeping staff who knock before I get a chance to checkout. One time that happened and it caused me to forget to take a couple souveneirs with me.

It was ok. I'd stay again. Like most hotels, the food prices were ridiculous and the only food options within walking distance were bars.

Room with a view!

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: We love the central location, the staff, the food, the d├ęcor and the comfortable rooms and beds!
Cons: Can't wait till the parking area is completed!
Location: Great central location in Peoria near the riverfront, Civic Center and the interstate which takes you in minutes to anything you want to do in Peoria.
We were in Peoria for the Steamboat Classic Race on Saturday, June 14, and stayed at "The Pere" on Friday, June 13. We had a great room with a great view! The staff, especially Cara Blackwell, and the new renovations were wonderful! We have stayed at the Pere Marquette several times prior to the remodeling for conferences and will stay there again when we are in the Peoria area.

Pros: very clean
Cons: tiny bathroom. access to parking lot
Location: Downtown Peoria was a ghost town on a Friday night. Had to drive 10 minutes away for a family friendly dinner.
Very nice room...super clean....tiny bathroom with sliding door. had to figure out how to get to the lobby from the parking lot.

Easy access for Dozer Park and Downtown

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Cons: Charging for internet access when almost all of the budget price hotels offer it as complimentary is annoying.
Just a short overnight after meeting with friends. Hotel access from parking is in the process of be being remodeled (June 2014) so access is a bit of a mess from parking. Hotel is clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Fairly standard moderately sized moderate price range downtown hotel. Wedding parties/Small conferences obviously a main source of guests.
