Stoney Creek Inn East Peoria

I was only in Peoria for 12 hrs. I was getting sick from travel and I don't remember much.

I stayed here several years ago and it was very nice. You can now tell it is somewhat aged. It seems to be a host for kids overnight bday parties. We did not care for all the commotion in the evening and in the am in the halls. Also, thought it was incredibly rude that staff were cleaning and vacuuming the room next to us at 9 a.m. on a Saturday. Priced to high for the room and will not return.

Rooms have always been clean. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Having a bar is nice, you don't see this much in hotels any more and the prices are reasonable.

First trip to Peoria. Enjoyed the area, even though we only stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. We did not use all the amenities since my seminar was at a different location. Inn has a "cabin in the woods" feel, no luxury, but comfortable. Room was clean, plenty of clean towels, cups and coffee, TV with many channels. Liked the location; close to everything, the view of the river,quiet and peaceful. Breakfast area small and was crowded on Sunday, since the Inn was pretty full, so we did not fully benefit.Overall a pleasant stay.

Deadbolt wouldn't work. Asked for new room but got maintenance instead. I spent the next 30 minutes holding the door so he could work on the lock. This led to having to change our dinner plans before going to a show at the civic center. After 30 minutes, they finally gave us a new room. The women who attended the rooms were very helpful but the decision maker at the front desk made a bad decision. The new room was fine. Good breakfast.

I always have a pleasant experience when I stay at Stoney Creek. The employees are friendly and more than helpful.

Enjoyed our stay. It is a nice place with friendly staff, clean & nice facilities. I always appreciate when a hotel offers breakfast, but with the exception of the fruit, the selection was very unhealthy. If you don't like heavy carbs & sugar, make other plans.

I showed up at 230 for 3 check in, no rooms were ready. I came back at 330 line out the door. Waited for what seems like forever. Finally made it to my room sheets were dirty, toilet paper was almost empty, and kleenex box was empty. Dog 3 doors away barked every time someone walked by.

The front desk was friendly and accommodating when we asked for a room away from all the noise since we had our dog with us. He did just that. Our room was a good size, and so clean and smells clean. Breakfast was good.
