“good all round hotel”

we had a room with a balcony overlooking the swan river and South Perth. For a City hotel it was in an excellent location to be based. it was within easy walking distance (or free bus ride) to northbridge where most of the reasonably priced restaurants are located. if you have a car, the hotel is quite expensive, but you can street park between 6pm and 0800 for free, if you need to park all day,fraser point is only five minutes walk where parking is much cheaper. the hotel staff were courteous and very helpful.Maybe a bit dated,but cleanliness overall was impressive.

“Pleasantly surprised.”

Pleasanlty surprised with the Crowne Plaza. The staff were all very friendly and service was excellent. Only negative I can comment on - which may have been a one-off, was no-one on the end of the phone for room service - answering machine - left a message and no call-back. Finally rang the restaurant itself and ordered room service meal and then waited another 40 minutes. Of course by the time the meal arrived I was no longer hungry after a wait of over an hour and a half. Apart from that one glitch I can only say it was very comfortable, quiet, in a good position and very cheerful, obliging staff. Will stay again and recommend.

“Great hotel right on the river”

The hotel was better than expected for the price and located right on Swan River across from the huge downtown park. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were not too firm and not too soft with warm down blankets. There was plenty of room for a roll-away bed that still left a footpath. The bathroom was bright and clean at all times. Water pressure and temp were perfect all times. The staff was very friendy and pointed us in the right direction every time we bugged them. Bikes were available for free to check out and ride to the market area and shopping malls. The only bad things were the daily cost of internet use and the price of the bar drinks. There was a business center with free internet but it was small and cramped. The price of internet in the comfort of your room was worth a few days but not every day. Also, buy your own drinks or bottles and keep them in the room for that cool down drink or pre-game before going out.

After a long trip from Melb and not feeling well my 9 yo and I arrived bags in tow to the hotel around 11am. We were looked after extremely well, bags were taken to be stored and we were told they would put a priority cleaning on our room. As it was a beautiful day we wandered along the swan river bank and up to the bell tower. Stunning gardens and parks close by. Around noon we received a call to say our room was ready so we headed back. Our bags were taken to the room and we were able to check in early. Staff were very friendly and helpful, I was most impressed with the service. Found a great 24hour small supermarket around the corner, suprisingly reasonable prices.

Very service oriented staff. The room was showing some wear but was very quiet and comfortable. Ihave paid a lot more for less service and overall am very pleased with our stay.

“They thought I would never leave!”

I arrived in the early hour after an intercontinental flight and was welcomed by a front desk team that was expecting me and checked me in with minimal fuss. I was slightly concerned that the corridor to my room was a little "tired", but the room itself was beautiful. I woke to glrious view over the river and in time for breakfast. In the dining room I found a full range of all the usual options at the buffet, as well as a juicing machine for making your own healthy fruit and vegetable juices from the raw produce provided. This might be the norm in Australia, but I've never seen this before. In view of my late arrival, I had booked a late checkout so I went back to bed...and slept like the dead, right through my arranged checkout time. Reception eventually called and very graciously asked if I was still planning on leaving that day! I finally checked out three hours late with nothing but smiles and good natured ribbing from the front desk staff. All in all, a great stay in an excellent hotel.
