“Excellent value”
Stayed for 9 days and was very impressed with quality of staff and services. The free bus service into central Perth (10mins walk)is almost at the door. Two bedroom suite was excellent for two couples especially with the two bathrooms.
“Close to the action, far enough away to remain quiet”
The Saville Park Suites was an excellent place to stay. It is located in East Perth, but close enough to walk to the main shopping district/mall and just a cab ride away from the night life in Northridge. The hotel was quiet, the rooms were large, there is in-room internet (unfortunately, it is a little expensive). The restaurant downstairs is nice. There is a wonderful pool. Right across the street there is a rental car agency, a BWS (Beer, Wine and Spirits liquor store), and several little grocery stores to take advantage of the in-room kitchens. There was an in-room washer/dryer with detergent. The only downside was there was no sound system except the television, but you could rent a CD player from the front desk for a very modest fee. Overall, my stay there was magnificent and I would stay there again without hesitation.
“Excellent hotel for families”
I booked a room for 4 persons, got an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and much more. And it was good and clean! The washroom was also very good, clean and fresh. It was far better than I expected, and it all for a reasonable price, in downtown Perth. The hotel itself is also good and clean. The only thing was that breakfast and dinner are quite expensive, but that is a common problem in Australia. The second night we prepared supper in our own room and the following morning also our breakfast.
“great hotel”
good location comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.
“Only one let down”
Spoilt by the room smelling of stale cigarette smoke despite booking a non-smoking room.
“very clean and kitchen well equipped.”
The hotel staff were really friendly. The hotel was great the only 2 things to grumble about was the hotel bar. It closed every night at 10.30 regardless of how busy it was. Also the room was cleaned on a daily basis but not to a very high standard. On a couple of occasions the top cover of the bed was put back on but the bottom sheet had been left as it was. On arrival the room was very clean and the kitchen was also very clean. Would stay there again.
“Good start to Oz holiday”
Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. The aparthotel style with kitchen allowed us to provide our own breakfast and larger room gave more space to relax after sightseeing. However our room was ground floor with poor and dull outlook. Hotel was full so could not get it changed. Location fine, near WACA and Mint, but city centre about 10 - 15 minutes walk away.
“A bit out of the way”
Generally the hotel was good, but the bar shuts too early and we found the restaurants in this area of Perth to be lacking in number and variety.
“Conveniently located apartment for adults or older children”
Good location, and reasonable value. Clean. Convenience stores nearby, short walks. I asked for King and 2 singles. They only have Queen and KIng, or Queen and 2 singles (the King becomes two singles). Not clear from their website. Noneless, quite comfortable. Paid wireless service. Service is charged only for logged on time, so it is quite economical. Car park is smallish. On busy weekend, I could not park in the hotel carpark, and had to park on street. Inconvenient, to say the least, and some concerns about safety and security. Hotel should restrict weekend parking to only guests staying in hotel.
“Yes, but...”
The hotel is clean, well maintained, and located about a 10 minute walk from city center. The rate was pretty good. On the other hand, ended up in a smoking room (smell was not bad), one wakeup call didn't happen, and although I ate the same continental breakfast each morning, there were three different breakfast charges on the bill at checkout varying from $13 (correct) to $18.

Perth City Centre, Western Australia, Australia: The country's fourth largest city and booming capital of Western Australia is sprawling, but downtown Perth proper is bounded by the Swan River and the Graham Farmer Freeway and easily covered on foot. Museums, galleries, shopping malls, and pedestrian precincts characterise the CBD, while parkland wanders along the riverfront. The downtown area also encompasses East Perth, a former industrial zone now converted to residential streets, and Northbridge, a restaurant and nightlife hotspot that is also home to Perth's Cultural Centre.
