Not family hotel-wouldn't eat at their restaurant

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: It was reasonably clean, and in the centre of Perth.
Cons: The Restaurant!!! Free Parking
When they say they have parking.. they mean a building a block away that will cost you $22 a night! nothing like walking your luggage through a shopping centre! with two small children... We booked for two adults two children, we received a queen bed and a pull out lounge. With two towels for the four of us and no linen for the pull out, the children were clearly forgotten about. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a mess with no room for us to seat in the dining room, we were moved to the café area even through there were many empty tables inside. And let’s just leave it as the food was disappointing. The buffet breakfast, was a joke… no plates, no cups, no food, nothing! And by the talk of the other unhappy customers this happened all week. One lady started taking photos it was that bad!

Location was good

Posted Apr 27, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: The staff were great. Evening meal was excellent.
Cons: Needs a good overhaul, fresh paint. Deodoriser. Knowledge that 5 people cannot sleep in a fold out bed and a queen bed. More towels.
Location: Shopping. Eating. Sites. Kings Park. Nightlife.
Firstly, there is no car park, you have to pay for one on the next block. There were 5 of us and only enough beds for 2. Only 3 towels. Food kept running out at breakfast. String smell of smoke in bathroom. Funny smell in rooms and corridors. Needs a good overhaul. I know this is not their fault but hotel alarm went off at 3am.

The heart and soul of Perth City

I've stayed here before and absolutely love the location - right in the centre of Perth. Found the staff helpful when called upon. Not a good place if you have a car, though.

great location in the centre of Perth CBD

Posted Apr 14, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: location
Cons: room layout
The front desk staff didn't have much in the way of local knowledge. We had a 2 bedroom appartment, but the configuration was really weird. We had a family of 5 and there was only enough glassware etc for 2 people.

Very close to every thing in city

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Location: Very good as far as shopping. Close to cafes supermarkets. shopping.
We stayed there for 5 days.We complained about the air conditioning 3 times. they came 3 times but it worked for a bit then it stopped each time. This was very disappointing as it was quite hot in the room. Because of this is why we found it very disappointing..

perfect position

Posted Apr 12, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: close to everything and you can walk everywhere
Cons: Bit of trouble with the shower/bath taps in our room but we reported it as we left and they were great about it so I am sure its fixed.
Location: Perth city centre, myers, coles shops, food etc.. Taxi across the road and bus service at the end of the road about a minute. Station also close.
We had to drive up into Perth for swimming at HBF stadium over 3 days. We decided to spend one night up in perth to save the commute from Secret Harbour. My husband was coming up later so my son and I got the train. The hotel is right near the station, like a 2 minute walk if that. We had some time so ventured out and the shops and centre of Perth are all within close walking distance like less than 5 minutes. There is a coles supermarket right across the road. Parking is around the corner at $25 for the night so add that to you bill. We received a free bottle of wine for the room and breakfast which I did not book , may have been a weekend deal? price was fantastic!! I booked on wotif and it was for a Friday night. Wish we stayed 2 nights and will stay there again. Staff were friendly and helpful.
