Reasonable hotel close to cityPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Proximity to centre of Perth
Cons: Attitude of 1 male night receptionist!
Location: Easy access to Transperth buses (200m from hotel), close to centre of Perth
Smartalec (male) night receptionist at 2am check-in who wanted to argue the point about debit credit vs credit cards when we stated that this "rule" was not stated on expedia or the hotel's own website; and he then tried to check expedia and kept us waiting for a key was definitely not appreciated. He wanted to remove $100 from the account instead of the usual $1 which we did not allow. Fortunately he was not representative of the other reception staff who were all very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was a bit noisy internally but OK. 5 blocks from the shopping centre of Perth, good location.

Bad for business stayPosted Jul 12, 2014
1. Wifi is too weak to send emails especially the ones with attachments 2. No business centre, e.g. no direct access to a printer 3. No computer at the hotel reception with a USB port. To get a document printed, you are asked to send it by email to the hotel's email address, but Wifi is too weak to send it, and there is no USB access to the printer: it is almost impossible to get anything printed with the hotel!

Good choice!Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Price, wifi, bed, location.
Location: Right by the CBD
This hotel is well-priced, in a great location, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's a great choice if you're going to be out and about in the city anyway and don't need anything fancy!

Refurbish is neededPosted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: The room was spacious and it was central.
Cons: The rooms should be refurbished and air conditioning cleaned thoroughly.
Location: Lovely green areas. On route to airport so only $4.20 public transport with a two minute walk. Great walk along the Swan River close by.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious but it needs refurbishing badly. We did not use the air conditioning as it desperately needed cleaning. I brought it to the attention of the maintenance guy who came to 4check it but he said it was a big job. And his point was?. It still needed cleaning. We did not use it.
