“Decent location but tired hotel”
We thought Scarborrough Beach was really nice and a central location for travel up and down the western coast. However, the hotel seem quite tired and needs a little tender-loving-care. Nice restaurants nearby. We'd go back for the location -- we were never in our rooms anyway, so the room was OK for just sleeping!!!
“Beachfront views, if slightly rundown”
My wife and I stayed here 3 days in February. First, the view of the beach are extraordinary - you can see forever up and down the white sandy border of the Indian Ocean. That said, the hotel is a little run down - the main restaurant closed, and the area clearly has been hit with bad economic times. Plus it's a LONG way from the airport and downtown Perth, but then again, you're going for the beach, right? Staff was extremely helpful, and was able to get us a room a day earlier than planned.
