Comfort off the beaten trackPosted May 6, 2014
Quaint, spotless and comfortable haven in the Umbria countryside. Only 15 minutes drive from Assisi. Beautiful home in the country overlooking gorgeous rolling hills. View from our room was stunning. Best part was the host, Letizia. We had an extremely warm welcome, complete with a glass of local red wine as she carefully reviewed details of the area with us. She has folders that you can keep for the length of your stay which include maps and her personal recommendations for restaurants and tours of the area.

Great place to stay outside AssisiPosted Nov 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wonderful country site away from the tourists (like us) in Assisi. Extremely helpful hosts, tasty breakfast, wonderful views, beautiful clean room; nothing to improve on. Very useful information about Assisi and the surrounding area in a booklet they will loan you. We would stay there again if we were lucky enough to be in the area. It is a ways from town, and you shouldn't try to get there in the dark the first time you go.

After arriving here, we found the mountaintop full of stars and ultra quiet. The pride and character of the home/agriturismo, is a brilliant charmed gem, close enough to one of the greatest, cleanest, throwback cities in the world, Assisi. Close enough to many cities/towns in the Umbrian region, there is nothing not to enjoy. The cooking class we shared with another quality couple from the USA was a great day in the moment of time. The owner, Letizia, is what this place is all about. One of the greatest kept secrets in all of Europe.
