Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, amazing food, QUIET.
Sitting in the hot tub amidst the ruins of a Roman amphitheater was beyond all great travel experiences.
Excellent chef, with a respectful eye towards organic and local tradition. Restaurant is a bit expensive, but far superior to the tourist restaurants in the center. Beautiful breakfast buffet, homemade pastries, and bread like bread should be made.
The experience is worth every penny.

A lovely, quiet and elegant hotel within walking distance of all of the citiy sites . They have a peaceful out door garden and comfortable lobby and lounge area to relax.
A buffet breakfast is available starting at 0730 however an early train reservation limited me to a delicious cappuccino.
The employees were very helpful and friendly, happily giving directions to restaurants in the area or the city sites.

This is a great place to stay if visiting Asissi. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed and we appreciated the helpful staff who could not have done more to make our stay pleasant. The rooms are uncluttered and simple but very comfortable with excellent bathrooms, the whole building retains the atmosphere of the Franciscan monastery, which it was until it was converted into a hotel.

Although it was early in the season, and outdoor activities were not available, the hotel was beautiful, the gardens and pool area lovely, and the staff was wonderfully attentive and gracious. I recommend this hotel to travelers, or to those requiring banquet or wedding settings, and to those who prefer staying in historic and renovated properties.
