A nice quiet location by the train station with local bus service to Assisi. The room was very clean and peaceful environment. The onsite restaurant is pretty good and the server is top notch (he seems to run both dinner and breakfast!). The wifi reception in my room was particularly bad and the staff wouldn't acknowledge that there would be any issue. But it's fast enough in the common area so that got me by.

Nice building and grounds. Room basic but clean and modern. Friendly and helpful front desk. Location is not in Assisi, it's a very steep long walk or short but expensive taxi ride. Breakfast could use improvement, very simple and typical unhealthy Italian buffet with no hot food except eggs and bacon and no salad or vegetables, mainly pastries and cakes. Maybe it's a "monastic" breakfast. Overall pretty good value for the price if you can deal with the location and bare bones breakfast

This place is the best place to stay! Great view and courtyard. Nice clean rooms. Amazing staff. Great breakfast. Train and bus is a very short walk. St Mary of the angels basilica is a short walk. The hotels food is good and there are many other places at a short walk. I will stay here when I come back next year. You really won’t find a better place to stay then here!

Great Hotel in Assisi!
Great hotel, close to the train station and super convenient for going into the main parts of Assisi. The bus that goes to the main sites is right at the front of the hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was also good. I just wish it would be open later (though it was available until 10:00 AM). Overall, I would definitely stay here again during a visit to Assisi.

Lovely stay. Beautiful building, friendly staff and very good sized room. A little further from Assisi but a nice walk in and beautiful surroundings. Only down side were the corridors being quite noisy due to the hard flooring. You can hear suitcases being wheeled and people moving around.

I went to reception since the whole floor smelled like cigarettes. And every time I opened the door the smell stayed in my room and also entered through the ventilation duct. They told me they would change my room but I had been driving for almost 5 hours and I didn't want to move out of the room since I didn't have the security if the same thing happened on another floor. I know they can't control the guests but I felt a lot of noise from the corridors. My friend who stayed in another room thinks the same.

Basic hotel with few services...no pool or lounge...clean...quiet...outside of central Assisi. Requires a taxi ride to get to most places. Lousy wifi which was frustrating. Breakfast was adequate for just about anyone. You wouldn't be happy or sad about staying here.

Prfect for a visit to Assisi
Hotel Cenacolo was an awesome find. Friendly and efficient staff at check in. Modern, comfortable, spotless, room. Great views of Assisi on the hill above the hotel. Lovely courtyard for apperitivo and snack. Surprisingly good restaurant. Free parking on property. Easy drive to parking at base of Assisi where we took escalators up to begin our exploration of the historical old city.

The view from my room (3rd floor) was stunning. The staff was attentive and friendly, in addition, the staff was able to accommodate us with a phone charger without hesitation during our stay. The food was great, cleanliness superb, and the hotel is aesthetically pleasing.

A quick trip...
Friendly staff. The breakfast was your normal European style but the dinner served was outstanding. It is a set menu but there are other options. The hotel was in a great location and was easy to find.

Great choice for a visit to Assisi.
Very comfortable and clean modern hotel. Staff was very warm and helpful. Free parking. A short bus ride up to the walled city of Assisi. Good breakfast, with plenty of fresh fruit, bakery, eggs, etc. Nice bar with free appetizers, and discounted drinks for people staying in the hotel. We did not eat at the restaurant, or enjoy the other amenities.

The hotel was very nice and clean, and the breakfast was amazing. However, the front desk service could be improved. There was a really nice lady who helped us check in, but another one who picked up the phone at front desk (July 20th evening) and sighed before answering my ONE question, indicating she did not want to deal with me. I felt poorly treated at that moment and would have expected more from such a nice hotel. It was quite rude.

We appreciated and enjoyed all aspects of our accommodation. There was even BBC and Euronews on the TV in English. The large shower area was especially great. A word of warning, though, groups staying at the hotel descend on the breakfast buffet like locusts. More food is provided, of course, but you may have to wait several minutes or longer. If you are an early riser, go to the buffet when it opens!

Hotel near Assisi
Delighted with room and to have fabulous view of Assisi. Hotel is walking distance from station (as long as you don't have lots of luggage) and there is a bus stop outside to the city of Assisi. Also shop next door. Our visit coincided with a few tour groups which made for a long wait whenever we needed to ask reception for anything. Also the tour groups affected service at dinner. They were extremely noisy and oblivious to other diners. We chose not to eat at the hotel after our first experience. Suggest you find out when tour groups may be dining. Hotel has two restaurants so it could have been possible to have tour dining and non tour dining. Reception staff and waiters very helpful and friendly.

Thia was a quite basic hotel, but this was fine as we were staying only one night. The layout of the room was a bit odd but it was comfortable. The beds were comfortable.
