Hotel restaurant is excellent - although the restaurant in the atrium was closed during our stay due to water leakage issue - room was warm despite having AC on- pool is not very inviting, not private, close to sidewalk- town is on the quieter side-

Highly recommend.
Wonderful hotel in a superb location. Made to feel so welcome by all of the fantastic staff from the moment we arrived at reception. Loved everything about it, the rooms, restaurant and both inside and outside areas. Really didn’t want to leave and it felt like leaving old friends behind.

Step into history
We stayed for one week at Hotel Vannucci. It has beautiful grounds with pool and a great location - just a few steps into walled city of Citta della Pieve. This hotel is a beautiful renovated villa with an indoor/outdoor bar and dining room. The breakfast buffet included is superb with fresh fruit, cereals, baked goods and eggs. Most importantly the staff are attentive and friendly. Just a gem of a hotel. Highly recommend.

This is a very cheerful and comfortable hotel located in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Very accessible to the Umbria countryside. Would happily return!!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! We loved our stay here, the town is so serene and peaceful. The hotel was modern and beautifully decorated, breakfast was good, staff were super friendly and helpful. Did not disappoint!

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Umbria. The hotel was beautiful! The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. The safe was so convenient as it was in a drawer and you didn't have to get on your knees to access it! The breakfast was awesome and the restaurant in which we had dinner one night was amazing! The hotel is centrally located so we could drive to other areas in Umbria. The town of Citta de la Pieve is very quaint and has lots of restaurants. I would definitely go back to Hotel Vannucci if I get the opportunity to visit this beautiful area of Italy!

The staff was very welcoming and informative and had excellent suggestions for restaurants and things to see. The hotel grounds were beautiful and it was nice to have a pool to cool off. The rooms were beautiful, clean and a good size. There is a little market every Saturday morning right beside the hotel which was a nice surprise.

Wonderful stay. Great position in the center of town. Hotel has its own private parking . Best to check in, then you are shown how to get to the parking (as it is behind hotel down the hill but accessible by stairs). Rooms have a modern elegance to them but cozy as well. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great breakfast. Charming terraced courtyard in front. Highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved sitting by the fire in the library after a day of site seeing. Great location - next to grocery and can walk the city easily.

Citta della Pieve is a great town. Hotel Vannucci is centrally placed for shops and restaurants but if you don’t want to venture out the food in the hotel restaurant is fantastic. The pool is small but refreshingly cool. Would definitely recommend.

Simply the best!
We had a great four nights at the Vannucci hotel (room 104). The hotel is beautifully placed in the little laid back town with everything we needed for a relaxed stay. We enjoyed the shady garden and the pool for cooling down. Rooms were spotless clean and everything looked new (the air con worked perfectly). The staff are welcoming, friendly and speaks English. The hotel restaurant serves amazing food and drinks at very reasonable prices. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

A Gem at the heart of Citta Della Pieve
We stayed for one night on our way from Tuscany to Rome at the end of our holiday. The Hotel Vannucci is a gem at the heart of Citta Della Pieve. We were welcomed at check in and shown to our lovely room. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and modern. The aircon could have been a little more powerful but it was a very hot day. We dined in the restaurant that evening, the menu was excellent, the service attentive and the prices very reasonable indeed. I would recommend the Hotel Vannucci to any one. Thank you for a great stay.

Charming hotel in Umbria
Hotel Vanucci is as charming as Citta della Pieve! Located near the supermarket, cafes, and restaurants, it’s an ideal spot to base your trip in Umbria. We did not have a car, so cannot speak to parking. But the staff were very helpful with taxis, and the restaurant on site was fantastic! The air conditioning wasn’t great, but typical of the region (we are spoiled at home!). Would 100% recommend!

A lovely, comfortable hotel with a gracious staff. The air conditioning was especially nice on a hot summer day. The restaurant is outstanding. The manager, Orlando, went out of his way to make our stay memorable. We plan to return.

Centrally located.
Htel Vannucci was a great place to base for a week tour of Umbria. The town is delightful with good restaurants. Staff were very nice, breakfast was good. Restaurant was excellent. Although we didn't get to use it because of weather there is a nice patio, sitting area.

Beautiful hotel in Citta della Pienza, full of charm and lovely gardens. The room was nicely decorated, the public lounge was relaxing, lots of taste in the decorations. the staff were excellent and friendly. great breakfast and the restaurant for dinner was superb. Would highly recommend this hotel plus the village is very pretty.

This hotel is well located and the staff is very friendly. We especially enjoyed the short walk into town and found Citte della Pieve to be charming. We were there for Saturday market day which was perfect! And while staying here we had easy access to lots of other interesting towns nearby.

Air-conditioning is "controlled" by front desk. Room was hot, hot, hot. Front desk is frequently unattended. That should adjust (lower) the price to reflect the experience.

Wonderful Umbria Hoel
Our stay at the Vannucci was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Italy. The hotel location in the charmingly "untouristy" village of Ciatta del Pieve was so refreshing after spending time in the bigger cities. The hotel staff was do it all - from check in to bar service to bellman - everyone on staff did everything. The restaurant was excellent. And the rooms, while somewhat small were furnished with the amenities of a fine hotel. I would go back in a heartbeat!
