"Wonderful location, staff, hotel"
My partner and I stayed here for two nights and both loved it. The hotel is on a very scenic hillside, quite tucked away in a little village, so you would need a car to explore the area, but only a 10 minute drive to the beach and 15 minutes or less from Fano, which is beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful, those on reception spoke fantastic English, and all were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was great. A continental buffet, which was really nice, with some bacon, scrambled eggs, toast as well. Lots of choice. The whole hotel, including the grounds were simply immaculate. No dust, no dirt, no marks on the walls, gardens perfect, not so much as a leaf floating in the pool. The grounds and the views from them were stunning (we went in early October and it was in the low 20s - I managed to get a tan from falling asleep on a sun bed). There was no indoor pool, but that didn't bother us at all. The only thing that we would have liked but which was missing would be facilities in the rooms for making hot drinks. Also, the rooms were not at all sound proof and we could hear other guests moving about. Neither of these points detracted from a very enjoyable stay though. The resort of Fano, however, was very much at the end of its season when we visited. Nothing to do with the hotel, but maybe of note when planning a future visit.
