“Impressed”

The hotel is located directly next to the One Utama shopping mall. Like it all except for internet service. Internet was not free and the internet speed in our room was very slow despite it was advertised as fast speed. Other than that, a great hotel to stay.

This is an excellent Hotel I have just discovered . Have always stayed in KL hotels because of the glitters , after this experience will always booked to stay at your hotel

Stayed in 2 hotels while on a recent business trip to Petaling Jaya. This was by far the better. Good food and shopping attached to hotel, but not the best location if you want to sight-see in Kuala Lumpur.

“Will use this hotel again”

Very convenient for food and shopping as it is attached to the One Utama mall. The hotel foyer is quite busy with crowds using it as a thoroughfare from carpark to mall/conference venue etc. hence (I think) the visible security. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. My aged mother and I were very appreciative of their kindness. The only moan is the use of wheelchair for my mother. We could not use it outside the hotel. Have to loan one from the mall daily from 10:00 am to 9.00 pm. Rather inconvenient with dashing to and fro the mall counter daily; I would have happily placed a refundable deposit with the hotel to secure the wheelchair for the duration of the stay. Perhaps the hotel could reconsider their policy on this. Lovely pools for children and adults. Free shuttle buses to KL Sentral Station and other malls. Will use this hotel again when next in PJ.

“Great Hotel”

Stayed at One World Hotel and had an enjoyable experience. Hotel allowed me to check in earlier. It is next to the One Utama shopping complex and had a direct passage way from the hotel to the shopping centre. The staff were friendly and courteous. In all, I could not fault the hotel. People did mentioned to me that the hotel looked "grumby" from the outside but inside the hotel was nice. It is away from KL CBD (about 30 minutes by taxi) but I stayed here because it was close to friends I was catching up and the local golf courses. I will definitely go back and stay here again.

“A good stay, but not outstanding”

One World's location is great for being located right smack by One Utama shopping center, so if you love shopping and then heading right to your hotel room to rest and shop some more, this place will suit you. There are ample restaurants in the shopping center for your meals. The complimentary breakfast was yummy for local foods (I didn't bother to try the Western section because, seriously, who wants Western food when we're visiting Malaysia?). Room service was a bit quirky--took away our soap and shower cap without offering any replacement. You'd think for this level of hotel, they wouldn't be stingy with supplies. Our room looks much bigger on the Internet than it actually is, but with two queen-size beds for the deluxe room, it was still very comfortable for two people and maybe even three. I would say this hotel is okay, not outstanding. I'm not sure about the 4-and-a-half stars rating given by Expedia.

“Not bad”

Hotel itself pretty good. Spacious, and very convenient to go to mall next to it. It's rather pricey though, and a bit out of the way from the tourist places. There are free shuttles, though we don't try it. However, this is the first time I called operator at 2am (for security) because I can hear clearly the room next door was saying, as they were having after prom party. Seems like the wall is thin, and the connecting door makes it worse. And reception is also quite slow, not to mention rather rude when I was asking for hotel room key the next day (for extra reservation). Lastly, my room was OK, but my cousin asked to move to another room because the bathroom stinks. Clearly, this is a pretty good hotel. But for the price that's more than Marriott, I am expecting more, and I wasn't quite satisfied with it.

“Will not go back to this hotel”

This hotel is not of an international standard. The service is very poor including turning up and reception not being able to find booking, booking an airport transfer and the concierge forgetting to order it, housekeeping continually ignoring the "do not disturb" sign, long queues at check-out and no express check-out facility. It may be in a convenient location for business in PJ and is attached to a great shopping mall, but after giving it a go 3 times I'm done.
