Would I stay here again????Posted Feb 15, 2012
Pros: For the most part the staff were on top of their game. Fitness room was good.
Cons: Location of room, "garbage disposal" type noise above us, company trucks waking us up, breakfast service.
Location: The hotel is located on the bay and was nice but our room was located next to an outdoor storage or garbage area so truck noise was annoying.
The hotel was nice but the room we stayed in was next to where the storage or garbage area was located outside of the building. At least twice while trying to sleep a "garbage disposal" type noise could be heard from above our room and it was irritating. We heard a company truck backing up just outside of our window. The room was nice but I was surprised that nicks and appearance repairs are getting overlooked for the price we paid to stay there. This stay was not at the same quality and level of the year before. I noticed that Mariott has their name associated also and I would've thought that meant excellence. The staff were great except when we went to breakfast our waiter was very slow and spent more time in conversation at other tables instead of providing us quality service. I will have to think twice before staying here again for the price. The spa was nice but pricey.

Beautiful place to stayPosted Sep 20, 2011 on Hotels.com
The scenery is beautiful especially at sunset the open pit campfire with the fireside amendities of marshmallows and all the 'fixins for S'mores was very folksy and oh so welcoming.

Beautiful hotel and locationPosted May 26, 2010 on Hotels.com
The Inn at Bay Harbor is a gorgeous hotel. It's located right on Little Traverse Bay, and is just minutes from downtown Petoskey. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, and really added to the pleasure of our stay. I dined twice at Sagamore's located in the hotel, and had one of the best filets I've ever had. All the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet is also unbeatable. I originally had only one night booked, but upon arriving and seeing the ground, I added another night. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, inside and out. The grounds are very nice, with beautiful views of Little Traverse Bay everywhere. The pool was very warm and clean, with plenty of seating around it. Overall, I have nothing but the best things to say about The Inn at Bay Harbor. It is an excellent, very beautiful hotel that is well worth the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great suite! On site restaurant not impressive.Posted May 20, 2010 on Hotels.com
The suite we stayed in was impressive. Hotel staff very friendly. We ate dinner at Sagamore's for convenience. The dinner food was not of the same level of quality as the hotel. Next time we will eat somewhere else.

location of hotel was easy to find and located close to casino and other entertainment. Room was clean, Murphy bed not really comfortable but for the cost was ok.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ammenities and the view when I arrived at the resort. Pull down bed are a hassle which the staff turns down for you.
