Lovely area with views of the city and literally a 6 minute walk to the Petra museum and visitor center. Restaurants were in 200 ft of the hotel and overall it was very clean. I have no regrets and would choose them again.

Worst bathroom EVERRR
The view from the hotel great. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. However, the condition of the room was not good. Upon check-in, I saw one of the bedsheets was dirty, so had to request to have it changed. The bathroom was in extremely poor condition. The hot water was not working properly, the shower wouldn't drain, the toilet seat was broken. The room and bathroom needs renovations badly!

Great Experience
Great stay at Edom Hotel because of very accommodating staff Ayoub. He provided us all information about Petra. He also arranged our dinner at the cave even it's close that night. Ahmed prepared delicious food for dinner, dessert and setup the shisha at the rooftop. Overall great experience!

I had a wonderful time at the Edom hotel. Incredible location, hotel members that are constantly looking out for you, very clean, and excellent money for value. Good Wifi connection and ideal for remote work, whether it was from the rooms or their amazing rooftop restaurant. All I'd recommend is to open the restaurant for lunch!

Best experience!! As a solo female traveler I felt safe and very comfortable. 2-3 min walk to Petra entry point. With off street parking right outside the hotel. Restaurant and buffet offered. The room was clean and very well kept. Besides the amenities and the hotel, what made this place great to me was the staff. Its great to be in a place where people take pride on their job. Everyone was so welcoming, polite and helpful....thank you for some wonderful days.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the Edom Hotel in Petra where we stayed for 2 nights. The hotel has a great location, right at the heart of Petra, just behind the Movenpick Hotel and close to the entrance to the Petra Visitors Centre and Museum. The hotel has a large free car park for guests located outside the front of the property and accessed via a road from Tourism Street. The room was very modern and comfortable with free fast WIFI. The hotel offers a buffet dinner for $15 JOD. Alcohol is available in the hotel too. The open-air roof-terrace bar has good views over the town. Tickets for the Petra by Night tour are available from Reception and the staff in the hotel are very friendly. Highly recommended!

The staff at the property were very kind, although I was surprised to have been charged for an extra key. The property was clean, with gleaming marble floors in the lobby, which was nice. Some of the furniture in the lobby was a little worn, and the drapes in my room had some large stains on them, but overall I thought this place was an excellent value, given its closeness to the visitor's center.

Spacious and comfortable rooms, and a short walk to the entrance for Petra. Lots of dining options nearby, and the on-site restaurant is decent (although the staff stand at the front and watch you eat, which was unsettling). Rooms are being renovated but some parts still look dated.

Very good place to stay close to Petra
Located 2min from Petra visitor center so a very convenient base for the visit. Nearby restaurants are very touristy and expectably overpriced - more options available up in the town, if you're willing to make the hike. No complaints at all about the property, comfortable, clean and well equipped room. One of the few places where rates don't punish solo travelers that much. Good breakfast from 6am - plenty of options available. Receptionists not exactly enthusiastic but eventually helped whenever I needed, so all in all, I was very happy with my stay!

This is a well situated hotel a stone's throw from the Visitor's Center for entrance to Petra. Our room was spacious and airy. The bathroom was clean and the bed very comfortable, both most welcoming after a long, strenuous day touring Petra!

The pictures provided are very misleading as is the description. The rooms are dingy, dated(furniture was chipped, knob came off night stand) , and shoddy construction ( a thin plywood barrier in the the closet separated us from the next room). The room was loud as the door had no seal and large gaps that allowed every sound to enter. One of the perks was free bottled water, but they gave you tiny bottles the first day and that was it. Also did not restock the coffee every day. The rooms tout soaking tubs, but it was a standard bath tub you could not fill up because they disabled the drain plugs. I found out this is a local law due to water shortages, but yet they still advertise it to get bookings. Breakfast was very low quality, but passable. Also check-in was supposed to be at 2pm, but we could not check in until after 2:30. The only plus to this hotel, and I mean the ONLY PLUS, was its location and the staff. It was less than a three minute walk to the ticket entrance to Petra and the staff was generally very helpful. I do not believe this hotel measures up to the quality of Expedia's standards. At the very least they should do something about the false advertising.

The best: the location Good: - staff service - services in the hotel like the messages Could be better: - the hotel is not as clear as it could be. The cleaning staff could be more careful - the breakfast didn't change in 4 days and the food is good but not the best. I guess the could do better spending the same amount of money. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Great stay, no complaints!
I don’t really have any complaints for Econ Hotel and my three night stay was great. It’s literally a two minute walk from Petra’s entrance which is a major plus! It was hotter than fish grease when I was there, so a short walk back to the hotel and blasting AC felt like heaven. I felt safe, room was comfortable, and clean but maybe a little outdated? But no issue at all, it had all I needed. The younger guy at the front desk tried to be as helpful as possible, despite the several crazy tourists that would hound the front desk all at once. Really professional. Room had a tv, AC, fridge. No room service type stuff but they offered free breakfast (buffet style) as well as a dinner buffet for like 10 dinars when I was there. The wait staff in the restaurant were also really kind and helpful. If i every come back to Wadi Musa I won’t hesitant booking with Edom!

It was everything we hoped and expected!
Check in was super simple and when we found the room type was not as pictured we told the staff and they immediately changed us to the room we needed and helped us move our luggage. We found everything totally satisfactory in every way. Service, cleanliness, quiet, temperature of the room, view and it was literally just a minute or two walk to the entrance gate of Petra!

Breakfast was good with a good variety. On the bad side, the elevator was not working causing us to walk up 5 flights of stairs. The Turkish bath was closed and the phones in our rooms did not work. They had to come to our room to let us know someone called and we then had to walk down from the 7th floor to the lobby to get the call when they called back.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days, and it was fantastic. It is located outside the exit of Petra making it a short walk each day for tired legs. Our room was quirky but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, big, and well worth it. And the best part of our stay was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful, especially Ziena who made us feel like we were welcomed to a new home. If we go to Petra again, we will definitely stay here.
