Best bang for the buck

I just needed a place to crash for one night before moving into the behemoth Mariott City Center, just a few block east. Club Quarters was the perfect choice; it was close to tons of restaurants and bars, my room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional.

Very disappointing room

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Proximity to local restaurants, but really nothing else.
Cons: Do something about the musky smell of the rooms. Improve your TV channel guide to match the quality and selection offered at other hotels.
Location: It is about a mile away from the Philadelphia Museum. There are restaurants all around.
Although I booked the "Executive Suite", the room was smaller than a standard room in other hotels. I can only imagineThe room had a musky/smoky smell that could only be relieved by spraying the room with Febreeze. The pull-out sofa bed felt like I was sleeping on concrete. Although the TV was of a decent size, it only had around 70 channels. Out of those channels, only a few were in high definition. Most of the channels were grainy and terrible quality. Additionally, the TV channel selection was terrible. If you stay at this hotel, I recommend bringing along an HDMI cable to hook up your laptop or phone to Netflix. Futhermore, breakfast was only fruit. In order to get a proper meal I had to go to a restaurant around the block. In retrospect, I should have spent a few extra dollars to book at a better quality hotel.

Great simple hotel... with extra amenities

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Great place to stay, especially if you're traveling a bit. While the hotel rooms were basic, they had everything one would need (bed, tv, internet, iron and ironing board, coffee.) The rooms were also very clean and modern looking. The bathrooms seemed recently re-done. We had a problem with our bed the first night (turned out they were switching their mattresses and had switched all but the top 2 floors). We had a bad nights sleep but were switched to a new room with the much more comfortable bed. The price was great. I would stay there again if I return to philadelphia.

This excellent hotel located in the Center City Philadelphia provides everything you need in a stay. Perhaps the hotel's best feature is the location. My wife and I were able to walk everywhere we wanted in Philly within 15-20 minutes, including a shorter walk to the subway, the Historical District, and every restaurant imaginable. The rooms were small and clean, just the size one needs when you are spending the majority of time out in the city. The amenities were better than I expected. We were able to do laundry, rent iPads, and fill up our water bottles with cool, purified water. You cannot ask for anything better for the price and location. I would recommend this hotel to all visiting Philadelphia.

Nice stay

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: the snacks
Cons: nothing
Location: very centrally located
I was in town attending U of Penn for a week long program. I had never bee to Philly before so I didn't know where to stay or what location would be most convenient. This hotel was great!! very convenient location, snacks and cold beverages all day long for guests, and just a 5 minute bus route to everything. I would definitely stay there again!
