We booked three rooms for a funeral. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Where do I start? When we were checking in there was a gentleman in front of us arguing with the front desk attendant about his personal belongings missing. His room was cleaned and all of his stuff was gone, including the food in his refrigerator. We thought a fight was about to break out. When we took the elevator to our room it immediately smelled like propane/grease. It was absolutely unbearable in such a tight space. We took the stairs for the reminder of our trip. Unfortunately my grandmother is on oxygen and she was forced to use the elevator. When we got to our room it was absolutely filthy. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was a sticky liquid on the desk, white residue all over the bench and the carpet was disgusting. There was also a half drank Snapple bottle leaking onto the heater. I had to wipe down every surface of the room. The bathroom was filthy too. The linens and towels had a bad smell to them. Our room faced the highway and the windows are paper thin. All night long we were woken up my tractor trailers buzzing by our window. The parking lot is dark and it feels unsafe at night. You cannot access the inside from the side door near the parking lot. The only entrance is the front door. I was afraid to eat anything at their free breakfast because of the cleanliness of the facility so we skipped it. Stay far far away from this place.
