“Can't wait to go back”
Great hotel, would recommend to anyone staying in the area it's about 25 mins to Philly and less then 5 to valley forge or the mall. Its price is unbeatable for the location and its clean and quiet.
“Nice Stay”
The room was clean and comfortable. Courtyard's prices usually drop on the weekends.
“Needs better maintenance”
The toilet in our room was out of order when we checked in. A maintenance person was not available to repair it. The hotel was not able to move us to a comparable room with enough beds for our family. We were given a key to the room next door to use that bathroom. The "bistro" is really a glorified fast food counter. They simply take items from the freezer and zap them in the microwave. There is a television at every eating booth, which was an enormously distracting temptation for my kids, and made for an unpleasant and noisy environment. The decoration of the hotel looks high-end, but the basics are not in place.
“Little things (mildew and peeling paint) mean a lot!”
We stayed at this Courtyard periodically over the past 15 years, and it appears the worse for wear. There was mildew at the base of the shower curtain, peeling paint on the ceiling over the shower, and the hot tub was closed for repairs. The TV was parallel to the bed, rather than facing it, which required us to view it from uncomfortable angles. The bed was comfortable, the location was convenient, and the walls were relatively soundproof. But there is just no excuse for mildew and peeling paint in a Marriott property.
“Nice Stay”
Clean, friendly, nice lobby and courtyard (no pun intended) reasonably priced. It’s want you want for this class of hotels
“Would definitely use this hotel again”
The front desk people were great at check-in, very friendly and welcoming, even though we were about an hour ahead of check-in time. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The one downside is that they charged for the continental breakfast. So we just went to a local place that was fun and unique. Our stay was quite enjoyable. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we would return here if we find ourselves in this area again.
“Nice place for reasonable price”
We stayed at this hotel during the 2009 Billiards Expo. After exhausting day of shooting pool it was nice to have hot water for a shower and a clean bed to sleep in. The only thing I would note is that they have minimal covers on the bed, basically a double sheet with light blanket, so I had to request an extra blanket but even then housekeeping brought it within 20 minutes. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay here again in the future.
