This is not worth the money I paid

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: Front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. Every one else was not.
Cons: the rooms are super small and stuffy. the breakfast was next to inedible. most of the staff was very unfriendly. You are in the service industry.
Location: China town, town hall, Logan's square, museum district are all with in walking distance.
I was very disappointed in this hotel. The rooms are super small, and stuffy. The breakfast was horrible. The walls and window let in even the slightest of noises. Horns blaring and people yelling all times of the night. Inside and outside of the hotel. Hope you are on the top floor, so you won't hear the people above you. The hotel made me sign a no party agreement but then there was a party on my floor that I called down about and nothing was done about. I was there for a race. I needed the sleep to run the next morning. I did not get it. Most of the staff was on the border of rude. You are in the service industry. People are going to ask you questions and ask if you can get them things they are not able to find. I witness many people asking the simplest of questions and the staff either being rude to them or complaining about them after they left the room to the next person. I asked a room attendant if I can get an extra towel and they acted like I asked them to give me their shirt off their back. I feel like the money I paid was not the value I had gotten.

Not a good place to stay

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Some of the channels of the TV didn't work. Our amenities weren't all renewed each day. The rooms are poorly sound proofed.

Close to Centre

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: The best thing was the help of reception staff. Amazing :-)
Cons: Better choice of breakfast
Location: Days Inn Philadelphia Convention Center close to key places to see. Great for shoping. Mayc's 5 minutes walk. You can go to all the main attereation
If you want a place to be very central good place this will do but be awrae it is basic in every sence. I must say the level of help and advice from Recepetion was amazing. Anything I needed help they provided. I would not recommend going there if you are a feamale and on your own as I felt walking back late at night bit uncomfortable. Fine day time. Location excellent for walking to all the key areas to see. Breakfast very very basic! The best thing was the help of reception staff. Amazing :-) That is why I recommend it. Hotel is not great and I would say scores 2 to 3 star the most! Flora

I stayed at Days Inn Philadelphia Convention Center for 5 nights because I was attending a conference at the Convention Center. The location of the hotel is just excellent! It was very close and which made my conference experience very pleasant and smooth. The breakfast serves at 6 am every morning and the staff are very nice and friendly.

moved our stuff without telling us

Posted Mar 23, 2015
We arrived at the hotel around 11pm and were put into a single bed room with a cot (when we ordered 2 double beds). The receptionist said they were fully occupied, so we took what we got since it was late. Upon coming back the hotel after our conference, we went to our room to hear people inside, our key wouldn't work and we began to knock on the door. A woman answered and told us they had just put her in that room, which had none of our belongings. As panicked as you would expect, we went down to the front desk. The receptionist again was rude and made it sound like our fault for not knowing that we were being switched rooms. None of our belongings were packed up to be moved, but when we were assigned our new room, thank God nothing was missing. After showering the next morning, the blow dryer stopped working and the electric outlet was broke, making it near impossible for anyone to get ready. Overall, the service was not pleasant, and the rooms were subpar.

Good price but fair experience

Posted Mar 4, 2015
The price was good compared with nearby hotels, but of course you get what you pay for. It is pretty bare bones, with no parking or exercise room, although they did have a decent continental breakfast. My room was near the front lobby and pretty loud. There was a very loud woman for two of the nights, but that's not the hotel's fault. Very convenient location to the conference center.

It is very convsnient to the convention center, clean, and safe, but it has no ambiance. A homeless shelter is a block away, the hotel faces a blank brick wall of the convention center, and many rooms have no windows. The breakfast room not only has no windows, it is in the basement. For the business traveller, there is no bar or even a lobby to hang out in at night.
