The room was gorgeous and our view was fabulous. The breakfast buffet was good. Staff was helpful and courteous.

“Doubletree Philly”

I arrived hours early and asked if the bell captain could hold my bags, instead I was given an early check-in. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel in great shape. Located above the Walnut Street subway station, I had easy access to both Independence Mall and the sports complex. Food and drinks in the bar were more than reasonably priced. I only have two minor complaints. 1) the Doubletree cookies are not as good as they were ten years ago, and 2) while breakfast was excellent, it was a bit pricey. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel to both families and business travelers.

You can't beat the location with all the theatres, restaurants and historic locations nearby. If you are visiting Philly, you can't go wrong here.

“Great Experience”

After a rough start with bad driving directions from the front desk, the staff was more than nice and compensated us for their error. Truly representative of the "city of brotherly love and sisterly affection." THe people were all supper friendly and went out of their way fir us. The accommodations were excellent. Somehow we were placed on the executive floors and had access to the executive lounge - free breakfast and use of computer room. SWEET!

“Best deal in Philadelphia”

Perfect location (only a few blocks south of city hall) in the theater district. You can walk anywhere(or take the subway 1 block away. The (indoor) pool & (outdoor) patio are great. Did I say perfect location? Perfect place for a weekend in Philadelphia!

“Good Buy”

Hotel was recently refurbished, clean and comfortable. Offered a happy hour with 1/2 price hors d'oeuvres and specially priced glasses of wine before 6 p.m. that were excellent. (Hors d'oeuvres were entree size). Location was convenient to Independence Mall and across the street from 2 theatres, and several very good restaurants.

“Love the Philly Doubletree”

My granddaughter attends the University of the Arts, which is right down the street from the Doubletree. I have stayed there, including this time, twice. It is extremely convenient and this time I was there to attend a play at the Merriam Theater, which is right across the street from the hotel. The food is delicious and priced well. I am sure I will be staying there again.

The Doubletree is a beautiful, reasonably priced hotel, with possibly the most comfortable beds in the world! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Plus, you get warm chocolate chip cookies when you check-in. Doesn't get much better than that.
