Ok with a good deal

Always hit or miss. Some staff is awesome, some are walking zombies. Safe and decent stay no real problems. Often just a lot of little issues. Ran out of washcloth at 10am, well they also never stocked room with any to begin with, room service trays aren't picked up for about a day, just left in halls, oh, housekeeping also puts them on hall floors as well. Not allowed to take them away, lol. Very soft bed, lots of hair in bath. Shower curtain bottom covered in mildew. It's fabric, they could just wash it. Bed linens are great, good quality. Some rooms are small some much larger. Often runs out of cookies... Very often... Long lines for check in and out... Now charging for parki,g, was free. Ok if discounted stay, but without free park and I never even got my cookies, I think I'll just stay next door... They don't have cookies or these little issues.

The staff was awesome and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to the airport so we had no problems at all when we were ready to depart.

Great customer service

Pros: Really impressed by customer service
Cons: Room decor a bit dated
Rooms were clean and comfortable, if a bit dated. Food was good, staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. Location was not terribly convenient, but between the courtesy airport shuttle provided by the hotel and the SEPTA airport line train, I had no trouble getting to downtown fairly quickly for little money. Would stay here again.

Excellent hotel near center city and airport

Would definitely recommend this hotel from the check in to the check out....everyone in the staff is very friendly the hotel is very clean I really have no complaints we stayed one night inTown for Phillies game and other Philadelphia activities. Location is great hotel is beautiful

Amazing staff, could be cleaner

The staff at this hotel was beyond amazing. Nice, friendly, and very attentive to our needs. The hotel wasn't the cleanest, but it wasn't anything major either. Just little things that I'm assuming we're easily overlooked. All in all, I would definitely stay there again

The staff was the best part about the stay. The room had various items with stains on it and was in need of a few renovations.

Poor Service

Pros: The Free Parking and the usual Doubletree Cookie
Cons: Customer Service, Courteousness and Respect for Patrons
I reserved a king bed, but getting there, When I got to the room (Room 941) I discovered it was a queen bed room, I called the Hotel Desk to tell them I reserved a King size bed, the desk clerk rudely and without consideration told me they are sold out and as I was still talking, he hung up the phone on me. I went down to the Service Desk to demand that I either get a king bed that reserved or I may have to go to another hotel. The clerk gave me another key (Room 212) telling me it is a king bed and on getting to this room, it is another queen size bed and I had to come down again, and he gave me another key (Room 229) and guess what, it is a queen bed again. Eventually after my fourth trip down to the Service desk, I got a King bed with a dirty bathroom and I just had to sulk it up because I was so tired after driving 7 hours. I got to the hotel around 10pm and I did not get the king bed room until about 90 minutes after. As if that was not bad enough, another guest was assigned to my room and was able to actually open the door of my room, but thanks to the door latch. op I even told the two guys who manned the desk that am going to write a review about my experience with them and they saucily said" we are not bother with review" There were lots of family reunion parties the weekend I stayed there, which may have put the staff under tremendous stress, but it should not be an excuse for the rude customer service. I am an HHonors member and this was the worst experience

Too far from fun

Nice looking hotel lobby big and beautiful, pool too small for the size of the hotel. Room quaint and OK. There were iron marks on the carpet flooring and the A/C unit had not been cleaned. Room was OK for the price but no fridge or microwave for convenience.

Great hotel, close to highway.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Our only complaint was the parking, that needs major improvements. I would still stay there again though even the way it is.
Location: It is right near the highway so it was easy to get to where we needed to go.
My son and I stayed there because we were attending a concert at the Wells Fargo Center. The check-in was easy, and pleasant. They gave us a warm chocolate chip cookie, which was actually delicious! The room was perfect, the pillows nice and comfy. We had room service the next morning, which again was very good. I was surprised, most hotel food is not that good. We swam in the pool, and everything was very clean.
