Airport shuttle left without us

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Promised, reserved airport shuttle left with out us 0400 snowy morning. They wouldn't call shuttle back for us. We were locked in their lot by malfunctioning tollgate. Search for new airport parking less than fun

A swing and a miss

Posted Jan 22, 2015
I never liked the wide open balcony look of the embassy suites when we had little kids and now that the kids are all grown up I still don't get it. The hotel has great amenities this week (free WiFi, parking, paper, breakfast, wine and beer ) but the walls are thin and the wide windows in front of each room screams "motel" not fancy 4 star "hotel". At check out time the heavy hall way activities reminds me of a scene from a penitientary movie. The hotel staff are attentive and polite and the hotel offers good value but this property has seen a better day. Don't get me wrong, its a good value and great for the leisure traveler with children on the weekend but this property is not for the high end business traveler or seasoned discerning traveler

Disappointed

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Breakfast, the staff was great.
Cons: Upgrade the facilites, clean the sofas in the rooms, improve the lighting in the inside. Add lighting to the water feature.
The pictures are not representative of the hotel, the inside is much darker than the pictures. Staff was fantastic but the facitlites need updgrading and more work. I had problems with my rooms (TV in bedroom won't tune in and couldn't get most channels, toilet was broken, bathroom light fixture was broken, couch was dirty, facet at coffee bar had cloudy water). The laundry room consist of one washer and one dryer, it's located on fifth floor behind a door that had a lock ripped out, the down light on the fourth floor elevator was pushed in and almost failing out of the wall, the wall by the down button had hot chocolate or some dark liquid spilled down the wall to the floor. The elevator is very, very slow both in going up and dow and door operation. Breakfast was very good. Fitness room was nice. For the price they are charging for the rooms the facilites should be much better.

Room needed maintenance such as a new paint job, carpet and upholstery cleaning. A little worn and torn look going on.....
