Touring Philly colleges

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: see above
Cons: see comments above
Location: see comments above
The cost of this hotel was much lower than staying either in center city or the west end closer to the colleges where I wanted to visit. I visited Penn, Drexel, Temple, Haverford, and Bryn Mawr. I could easily reach these schools in 20-30 minutes (without traffic). It was pretty convenient to the interstate. Only negative is that there are very few resources close to the hotel (restaurants, entertainment, drug stores, groceries, etc.). The on-site restaurant was open until 11pm - great for late arrivals! Food was okay. Next time I stay here I will ask for a room closer to the elevator. There are two elevators off the atrium, but there is lots of walking to get to your room. If you have lots of stuff (as I did!) it was a real pain. Nice place to stay, clean, comfortable, and convenient for what I needed to do in the city.

So convenient

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The staff and the friendliness and they always make you feel welcome.
Cons: Update the decor at some point yet I know it is expensive.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. My air conditioning unit was not working properly and they replaced the entire pump and one of the TV's was not working and replaced the entire TV. They were prompt and courteous as always. Also I enjoyed staying on the 5th floor because it was quiet and it would be a room I would request again when I come down which is usually several times a year. I have been staying at the hotel regularly since 2010 and always enjoy my stay. The front desk staff, the housekeepers and the staff that service the dining area are friendly and always helpful. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The hotel was nice the people at the front desk were really nice and helpful. They gave us service like you were at the Ritz Carlton. You should be proud of them. The breakfast was really bad. The diner was great. Thank you. I would stay there again. Mark Cunningham

Good big spacious hotel.Suites were lovely, with everything you required.Breakfast food was plentiful and breakfast could be very leisurely. The only problem was our toilet, either not flushing or water running every 5 mins!Despite being reported ,it took 2 days to be fixed. It wouldn't,t stop us going back though.

Pros: Everyone was so polite and everything was so clean.
Cons: n/a
Location: We only attended the Wells Fargo Center for a concert
We were only there for one night because we were attending a concert at Wells Fargo. We will most definitely be staying here again when we attend out next concert at Wells Fargo and maybe stay an extra night :)

close to concert facility

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Close to concert venue.
Cons: Hotel staff
Location: Close to venue.
When checking in at 3 pm, per my e-mail verification, I was told by the staff that our room was not ready. Staff informed me that check in time was 4 and they would try to have my room ready by then, but could not promise anything. Hotel staff very inconsiderate and rude when questioned why room was not ready. Hotel manager was very sarcastic. When we finally got checked in and went to our room, the room key would not work. No towels in room. When trying to get out of the parking lot to go to concert, gate would not lift up. Went into tell hotel staff, once again very rude. Will never stay at that hotel again.

Dear Karen, Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience. Sarcasm and rudeness are never appropriate responses to our guests, and I am so sorry that anyone - especially a manager - treated you that way. We are a much better hotel than you experienced, and I hope that we will have the chance to show you that during one of your next visits to Philadelphia. Thank you again, Adam Stanchina General Manager
