Pros: Facilities, location. The rooms were so good we didn't want to leave.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Close to city centre and sight seeing.
The rooms were much better than we anticipated. The happy hour each day great and very much appreciated. Hotel is close to city and attractions. We had a fantastic stay and would return to the hotel in the future and we will recommend it to our friends.

Big old rooms

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Location, views, staff
Cons: Room condition, wall insulation
Location: good location
Hotel is well located with great views. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Rooms are very large and relatively comfortable. Same level of comfort of a Holiday Inn (three star). Rooms need some updating. There was visible water damage on the bedroom ceiling. Building is awkward, slow elevators and the AC is very very loud. I could not sleep well due to the noise. The sound insulation is really poor. I could hear guests' conversations and a real fight that occurred next door at 3AM. Very unpleasant. The free breakfast was OK. The meal was served in the adjacent TGIF, which was dirty and poorly staffed.

Just okay, good location though.

Pros: Great free Breakfast.
Great location, great breakfast! Room was not very clean and when I called to get room service to send up clean sheets they had gone home for the night. Someone did bring them up for me to put on later that evening. Needs updating as coach was old and stained, didn't even want to sit on it. Table was cracked and damaged and sliding glass window looked like kids had put fingers all over it.

Great location, lots of space

Great to get a roomy suite for the price of a normal room. Very convenient for the museum area and downtown restaurants. Generous breakfast included with fresh eggs - not gourmet but filling.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: bathroom, bed, view
Cons: everything?
A little poop with some cherry on top. breakfast was bad, internet was worse, $40 parking, nice view, comfy bed & bathroom, no glass-ware, paper cups disintegrated...what else you need to know? no hbo? motel6 has hbo, why not a snoozy downtown philly hotel?

Thank you for sharing your recent experience regarding the Embassy Suites Center City. We have surveyed the parking charges with in the Center City area to ensure we are seen as a value to our guests when staying with us. We feel that the charges are comparable for the benefits we offer, such as unlimited in and out privileges and prompt service. There are other options in the City which some guests research before arriving. I'm sorry you felt the breakfast was not to your liking, it can get very busy at times, we suggest attending breakfast as early as possible to avoid the crowds. We offer different options for guests to choose from when it relates to internet, with our most basic service being complimentary, we do have plastic utensils available to our guests upon request and also offer HBO. The feedback that you’ve provided is very valuable to the success of this team, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to share. Thank you. Warmest, Kestda Braisier Front Office Manager

very happy with our stay

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Cons: the ventilation is a little loud in our suite
We recent stay 2 nights at Embassy Suites Philadelphia Center City. Hotel is very clean, room is spacious. What i like the most is the generosity that Embassy Suites is shown with breakfasts at TGF and happy hours from 5:30 to 7:30 pm every day. Next trip to Philadelphia, we'll definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in the middle of Philadelphia

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Staff was great, valet parking folks and front desk staff was very courteous and helpful.
Cons: None
Location: Central to all things you need to do or need to get to.
My hotel stay was excellent. The hotel itself is very close to various parks and points of interest. The LOVE park is 2 -3 blocks walk, the Logan Square was a few blocks on the other direction. The hotel has manager's special between 5.30 - 7 pm where they server wine and beer and snacks which was great. we got to see and chat with other visitors which was much better experience than that usual elevator "Hi - Bye" with other guests. They server hot b'fast in the morning until 9.30 which is better than many other hotels. The hotel staff in the front desk and the valet parking experience was great. They give enough time to unload and load instead of pushing us out of the way. Kids enjoyed their stay too. The rooms were huge with separate sitting area and bedroom. We had balcony view which was great to get fresh air and just to see the people in Philly from your room. The Red Bus and Philly Phlash buses are right across the street which makes it so much easier to get to major attractions instead of walking to central bus stops. Over all great experience and will definitely considering booking this hotel again.
