Charged us more than we were told

Pros: Location, cleanliness.
Cons: Customer service. Accuracy of price.
Disappointing. We were told that we'd be able to check in at 4 pm. Hotel instead did not have a room ready until 8 pm. Furthermore we were given a "firm price" for the room (rate, taxes, fees, etc.) when we made the reservations. Instead, hotel charged an additional 50 dollars.

Hotel in Philly

Pros: Everything
Cons: Front desk communication about the parking garage
Location: Susquehanna Center in Camden New Jersey
Everything about the hotel was top notch except the parking and the manager. When we told the front desk that we had to pay $30 to leave the garage the night before and would have to pay another $30 to check out and leave, the young lady checking us out got the manager and he told us that it wasn't the hotels standard to tell anyone driving a car to their hotel that they need to get a pass from the front desk. Not your standard? Then raise your standards!! Put out a sign, ask each patron if they drove to your hotel!! Not rocket science. You are in a service industry so act like it. After 10 minutes of going back and forth being told go suck it up and pay, he finally relented just to get rid of us and gave us a card to slide to get out of the garage without paying the second time. Come on, I do not need to be treated like an idiot when I do not know your policies or "standards" as you put it to me. Put up a sign for pity sakes!! Other than that awful experience everything and everyone else in the hotel was top notch.

I have nothing out of the ordinary to say about this hotel, positive or negative. I got upped to a larger room on arrival, two beds, couch, desk, so that was enjoyable. Clean, had everything I need, close to Chinatown.

Staff was excellent and location was great for everything center city has to offer. Onsite self parking very convenient with no need for car during our stay. Short walk to attractions and great restaurants.

Pros: Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Decor, smell
Room decor very dated. Room clean but smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. Bathroom fixings lose.

brilliant Location

Pros: Not only is its location great but so too are the staff - definitely among the friendliest we've ever encountered.
Cons: It's a good, solid 3-star hotel which is perhaps getting a little bit worn in places (eg. carpets/furniture) and would benefit from a makeover.
Location: Cannot overstate location - right at the famous Reading Terminal Market, close to Independence Visitor Center, Liberty Bell and historic Waterfront.
As Philly is such a historical city there is so much to see and, as a great deal of that is centrally located, it is sensible to pick a hotel right in the heart of town. The Hilton Garden Inn is a perfect choice. Also, whilst Philly rightly is considered a "walking town", nevertheless you can get tired, especially when it's hot, and you need a ride. The public transport system is excellent and once again the Hilton Garden Inn is perfectly placed to take advantage of this.

Didnt liked thé aircondition, super placement

Check in-perfektní-earlier than allowed. We could printed thé tikets for sports and thé staff was helpfull and nice. Only think was,.that IT was impossible to skutečně Down thé airconditioning. After 5 minutě after shooting Down turned UP again. So IT disturbed mě through night. But othetweis perfect

Pros: The overall experience was nice.
Cons: Water fountain on each floor.
Location: Chinatown, and downtown government buildings.
The staff are wonderful - helpful and polite. The restaurant offers good food! The room was clean and in good condition.
