“Great Hotel at Expedia's Price”

My family and I stayed one night before the Philadelphia Marathon. Though the hotel was a bit of a drive from downtown Philadelphia, it was definitely worth it for the price. The room was clean and the front desk checked in on our room after checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and the wifi worked well for both of our laptops. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

“smelled of chemicals, windows don't open”

The first room smelled strongly of chemicals & the windows didn't open. We complained, they gave us a different room, and it was exactly the same - very strong chemical smell, no winows that open. Woke up with a headache from the strong chemicals.

“Nice hotel, good value”

I went on a road trip to Philly with some friends. The hotel was definitely clean and comfortable. They were renovating the front entrance when we arrived but it wasn't an inconvenience and looked like it was coming along quickly. The hotel was about a 10 minute drive from all the Philly attractions. It would be good for anyone who doesn't want to be right in the action, but wants to be close. I'd definitely come again and give myself enough time to check out the pool and bar.

“convenient but...”

had promotions for sports bar and breakfast. Close to airport (the same as a dozen other hotels.) Shuttle was very poor for pick-up at airport but ok for service to airport (scheduled evry 20 minutes). Low bed with nice douve. Wakeup call button and call system was poor compared to other hotels. Shower head was barely hanging on and the water temp ranged from very hot to scalding only. Good shampoos

Area recommendations

Little Italy - many superb restaurants. But beware most are cash only and the archaic and strange liquor laws may require you to BYOB (you'd think your were in Utah.)

“Hilton Philly Airport”

The hotel staff was the best part of our whole experience. They went out of their way for us and were so kind and curious. The room was clean and comfy as well. I would def recommend it to others!

“ok”

The Hilton was ok, the room was clean except the floor. The carpets need extracted!!! My socks were filthy!!!!

“Great- But avoid the restaurant!”

The service and room were excellent for the price. However, I would strongly recommend avoiding the breakfast buffet. The food was lousy, and it actually made my friend and me very ill!! The floors of the buffet line were sticky and a huge cockroach scampered across as we were getting our food. DISGUSTING!

“OK for location”

The best thing about this hotel was the location. Very close to Philadelphia airport and east to access. The bad things - shabby carpet, very few plugs for charging phones and kindle, and only decaf coffee was next to the coffee maker. I had to call down to front desk for caffeinated. There weren't enough towels, either. That being said - beds were comfortable, room was relatively large, service was prompt. All in all - average.
