Amazing views of the river!

Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: The river view was amazing and the price was fair. We stayed on a Monday/Tuesday night because of the discount in price.
Location: It is close to the historical sites such as Independence Hall, Liberty Bell and Ben Franklin Museum. Just a $12 cab ride the Art Museums.
The price was excellent and the view of the river from our room was amazing. While the coffee was not very good, everything else about this hotel was outstanding and professional. Our daughter made an surprise visit from Washington, DC and a roll away deluxe bed was delivered to our room at midnight at no charge! The staff was most courteous, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of Independence Hall and Liberty Bell, and just a $12 cab ride from the art museums. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. We received a great value at an excellent price for a getaway to Philly!

Loved the water views from our room. Beautiful natural light even in the bathroom! I usually feel closed in a hotel room but not this one!

Nice hotel close to Old City

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Name on hotel should be the same as what name on reservation says.
Location: Near bars, parks, shopping, restaurants, historical landmarks etc. Located right on the river. Near South Street and Old City.
Nice Philadelphia hotel near South Street and Old City. Easy parking. Can walk to many restaurants, bars, historical landmarks, parks, etc. Bar is nice. Room with king bed was spacious and clean. Only 2 negatives: the name on top of hotel says Hilton yet the reservation was made at Hyatt. Nothing on hotel says Hyatt so you need to know or you will drive right past it. Also, temperature in room was warm even with thermostat turned all the way down and fan on high.

Harbor Hotel at Penns Landing

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: I liked the location, the restaurant was really nice and the room was very nice.
Cons: Nothing negative to say
Location: The hotel is located on the river at Penns Landing and is within easy walking distance to the historic city center.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was perfect for a short trip and sight seeing in Philadelphia. There is a stop for the hop on hop off Big Bus tour right in front of the hotel. The Maritime museum and several historic ships are on the docks adjacent to the hotel and the restaurant with its scenic view of the river is wonderful.

Philadelphia - Liberty Bell

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Nothing to dislike.
Cons: I thought the cost of $25 dollars per person for breakfast was over priced especially if travelling as a family.
Location: Okay for a night but as a tourist I'm not sure if there would be enough in the immediate locality to want to make me stay longer.
We only booked one night as a stopover to see Independence Park and the Liberty Bell. A great hotel and only a short 20min stroll to the sites.
