Not a Hyatt it is a Hilton

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: clean, spacious, ok location
Cons: Never lie to customers,
Location: location ok, not in center of town, but about 15 minute walk. A city park right outside which is nice to walk and sit.
First of all, I was expecting a Hyatt, but the hotel is a Hilton, so it is important to revise this mistake. Upon arrival we were told the hotel was over sold for the night, and were offered a suite room...It was made clear to the receptionist that the party was for 4 people, and she assigned that suite room to us, however, there was no bedroom in the suite room, instead the hotel staff expected the four of us to sleep in two rollaways that were taken to the "living room of the suite", and expected two of us to sleep in the couch, not a sofa bed. I still cannot understand how they even attempted to do that. I asked to speak to the manager, and as I approached the desk, she received me with a big smile, and said "a room was just vacated and is ready for you" at 12:15 am!!! We ended up in the right room, but the experience was not acceptable at all.

The room has the carpet wey, we had to put towels in the balconies door because don't have curtains and the kids slept in the seating area. My husband forgot his suitcase and they are sending it to out next hotel, but it was very difficult to talk to someone.

OK hotel in a very good location. Overpriced park

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: See above but mostly location and beds good.
Cons: Staff only fair at front desk and doormen and starting to look age, cracked sink and worn paint in bathroom
Location: Very active Penns landing, South Street, Ships going by our window, Seaport with several Ships.
Hotel is OK but starting to look a little worn. Hotel parking rates at 32 dollars is too high. Front desk didn't have toothbrush and did not explain parking procedure. Beds and pillows good. Long delays with elevators during a banquet. Location is very good. Doormen only fair since couple inattentive, no offer to handle luggage. Sunday brunch pretty good but not keeping items offered full, several empty. Bar was very good Sunday night and bartender very good as was the late night food.

Great location for events at penn's landing

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Cons: Elevators are slow to come despite 4 of them. Breakfast buffet was very expensive but it was convenient. Parking also pricey, but convenient.
Location: Museum, Penn's Landing River Stage, and the Spruce Street Harbor Park all right outside the hotel door. Great neighborhoods and dining within walking.
In town one night for a concert, booked months ago at a good value on expedia. View was lovely. Stayed on 10th floor near elevatorand despite it being a Saturday, events going on right outside, near the interstate, and a wedding in the building noise from inside and outside was tolerable. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean. Pool was a nice temperature.
