Nice Hotel for VacationPosted May 4, 2015
Cons: The front desk staff could use more training. They were unfamiliar with the registration system and made it difficult for me to get a room.
I spent a week at this hotel while on business in Philadelphia. The hotel is located in an excellent location for shopping, restaurants, etc. I rented a car because I did not know what to expect. However, there is no need for a car if you stay here, as everything you need is within walking distance. Great hotel for families with children as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great for families with more than 3 kids!Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: That our family with 4 kids could all stay in one room and not have to get 2 rooms.
Cons: We were confused about the registration as the paperwork online said that we register at one hotel and stay at a different one.
Location: Located right by the Reading Terminal Market and Panera Bread, which is handy with hungry kids.
Initially we had a few issues, the room key wouldn't open the door. We tried numerous times. Eventually it worked, only to realize someone was already staying in that room! Eventually we got the correct room and key. The pool was a little greenish looking. Other than that, no issues.

Lovely modern hotel, ideal for city centrePosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: The staff, the cleanliness, the location.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is adding a bar!?
Location: City centre, perfect location for historic district, museum district, shops, Love Park, City Hall, Liberty Bell, bus/subway to anywhere!
The hotel was modern, fresh and clean on first impressions. Staff at reception desk instantly made us feel at home and were efficient, friendly and helpful (as were the room-cleaning staff). Nothing was too much bother and we felt very looked after. The room (twin king bed suite) was perfect. Very spacious with kitchenette and lounging area with big TV! Having a fridge and sink was especially handy! Nice bathroom (large walk-in shower, no bath) with ample space, loaded with lots of towels etc, and very clean. Shower was a decent pressure too! The room was given a light clean each day, with a deep clean on the fifth day of your visit. If we were still in the room when the cleaner arrived, it was not a problem for her to return later, once we had gone out. I couldnt fault it - we had a wonderful stay in a wonderful city! Also a reasonable price, especially when booked as a flight+hotel package.

My favorite place to stay for my whole trip. Friendly, best buffet breakfast I've had in any hotel, great workout area and a nice warm pool. The bed was very comfortable and that's important to us. The table in the room comfortably sat 4 people and was perfect for the meetings we had every day.

Hôtel bien situé, personnel agréable.Posted Apr 21, 2015

Quick spring break trip.Posted Apr 15, 2015
Comfortable beds. I liked that there was a kind of black out curtain by the sofa bed so that we could make that area darker for kids going to sleep while still having light on other side. Breakfast was okay although they could have added some additional fruit, some ready to eat hot foods and other bread options (they basically had white bread, some seedy bread and bagels. Muffins and wheat bread would have been nice). They did have waffles, some frozen egg thing that you could microwave, oatmeal, cold cereal, milk, coffee, juice. For some reason, our room wasn't automatically cleaned up (may have had to do with the timing of us getting out of the room in morning but still...) Location was good. A mile or so from historic area, also a mile from Franklin Institute.

Airless & DisappointingPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Easy to use door knob. Still not worth the price of the hotel though.
Cons: Get some real windows that open.
Location: Reading market was a real treat. Close to many sights.
The huge pool shown not he photos is not the real pool when you arrive. It's more like a dipping pool; not meant for swimming. The rooms were clean, but like many hotels, the windows do not open and fresh air is minimal. What's up with these new hotel that don't have functioning windows! Soon they'll be selling us bottled air from the Alps. The breakfast is a zoo. Over 100 people crowding into a small area for pieces of toast and a doses of high fructose corn syrup. Yum. More like 3rd world style feasting. Don't count that you're saving money by not having to go for breakfast. Better get out and some good Philly food. Overall, the place is not so good. Not sure why people speak to highly of it. This feels more like a glorified motel. I do not recommend this place at all. Go get a hotel with windows that open!

Great Center City LocationPosted Apr 11, 2015
Excellent location directly across the street from Reading Terminal. The room size was very comfortable and breakfast option was a nice perk.
