Nice hotel in a convenience locationPosted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Love the comfort and convenience of homewood suites hotels
Cons: Probably better price, more locations in the USA and offers.
Location: malls (outlets), kids water parks and shows like Sight and Sound theaters in Ronks - Lancaster PA
We were looking for a place to relax and spend some time out of the daily routine and cold temperatures.

Hotel outside of PhiladelphiaPosted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Staff was exceptionally nice
Cons: Have wireless accessable in rooms not just in lobby
Sadly, the hotel told us free wireless but you had to be in the lobby to use. Honestly, do you really think guests want to have to go to the lobby to use the wireless or do you think they would prefer to use it in the privacy of the hotel room? The first night the room was uncomfortably warm and we could not get the heater to put out cool air so the second night we opened the windows. Opening the windows was much better until the parking attendants decided to have the car's alarms go off so they could locate the car. This was terrible and lasted until well after 11PM! The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and the room was very nice but we were disappointed in these areas.

Pros: Location and suite
Staff was extremely accommodating! Loved the access to the Hilton Hotel that adjoined so we could go to the bar through a passage as well as the pool and gym!

Location location location....?Posted Jan 20, 2015 on Hotels.com
This Hilton Homewood is located, literally, next door to another Hilton Hotel. The confusion for valet, bellmen and reception registration--ridiculous. The entry from the street has no signage indicating where the Homewood facility is located. If you can find it---the suites are fine--unless you want to use the Fitness Center--then you need another key and you return to the other Hilton next door---after you walk past a ballroom and a long hallway.

Good StayPosted Jan 5, 2015 on Hotels.com
My stay was nice and the breakfast choices are great. Must note, Alisha at the front desk was the best. Best greeting ever received at a hotel and I travel frequently. Wonderful personality and just a nice, sweet person overall. Hope the hotel knows what an asset they have with her at the front desk.

Great bus route for Downtown (the 44)!Posted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: Clean, great value, public transport accessible
Initially I was a bit concerned as it was over the river away from the City and we were using public transport - but catching the 44 Bus from 30th St Amtrak Station was easy and we were outside the hotel in 25 minutes. The staff were really friendly as we were way early for booking in but they got us a suite straight away. The complimentary evening meal (Mon-Thurs) was lovely, fresh salad and a hot course with vegetables. You basically served yourself which included a choice of beer, wine, soft drinks - which many diners took full advantage of! Breakfast was also fab and the room was great with a spacious bed, sofa, armchair, great kitchenette and bathroom. You also have access to the Hotel swimming pool next door plus gym - there's also a useful Business Centre if your WiFi plays up...Just be careful when you check out as they assume you've come by car and they will Invoice you for parking - obviously not used to mad Brits using public transport! ; )
