The hotel was cheap and as long as a traveler goes with that expectation it is what you would expect. Free WiFi but I could never actually connect to the internet. The room had basic accommodations but AC. My bed had some oil stains on it but was comfortable. I was in the city for a conference so I didn't spend that much time in my room. So it was ok for what I needed it for. The train into the city is a two minute walk from behind the hotel which is awesome. And it is about a 25 minute ride into the city for 5 bucksbucks (2015). While the hotel was overall below average in cleanliness the bathrooms were surprised and clean.

Friendly staff, very helpful

There happened to be a build of boys staying in the hotel at the same time. The staff did their best to keep the noise level down for other guests. Efficient staff, I felt very safe there as I was traveling alone.

Came to Philadelphia on short notice and had limited options for hotel. Front desk was always helpful but the hotel could use some updating.

Perfect for a one night stay in Philly.

Location: Located just off 95, which allowed easy access and exit. Ruby Tuesday next door convenient for a quick meal.
Not a lot of fanciness, just a clean room. I had a handicapped bathroom, so it was huge. Room was comfortable. No coffee maker but free continental breakfast with fresh coffee in the lobby.

Not a good choice for hotel

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Location close to the airport with easy freeway access
Cons: Clkeanliness, repairs and sufficient staff.
Location: 12 minutes away from almost everything: Liberty Bell, National Constitution Center, US Mint, Independence Hall, Franlklin Institute.
When Wyndham attaches its name to a hotel, it's usually a quality hotel. That was the primary reason that I felt good about selecting this particular hotel. It was a horrible hotel; dirty, poorly maintained and the staff weren't very helpful. We were charged extra to have three people in the room yet it was a pain to get an extra blanket and a third towel set. Everytime I called down to the front desk, they asked if we could come down and get the towels and blanket ourselves. When the toilet was plugged on the first night (two hours after check-in), when I called the front desk to get it taken care of, they told me we needed to come down and get a plunger and fix it ourselves. There were usually long lack hairs left behind on the bedding after the room had been serviced. You could tell that the stairways were being used as "smoking rooms". On one occasion, we saw a hotel employee using the stairway for smoking. The stairs on the exit closest to our room were rickety and you could tell that the boards were loose under the carpet. It didn't look like the carpet had ever been cleaned in the stairways, the room, or the hallways. The front desk seemed to be always understaffed.

You get what u pay for...

Pros: The beds were neatly made and fairly comfortable.
Cons: The blow dryer only blew cold air and the vent in the bathroom was caked in dust.
Location: It was very close to the airport.
We stayed at the Microtell because it was fairly cheap in price. My husband was having open heart surgery at Univ of Penn and I was trying to keep my expenditures down.It was a reasonable distance from university city.

Good value for money

Cons: It would be nice if they added bread, cheese and salami for the breakfast.
Close to train station, nothing extra but everything you need for the money. Just the breakfast is a bit basic.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful - outside of hotel looked good but rooms very small I guess that is why it is called micro - very dated and could use a really good clean everywhere
