Convenient location. You can walk to the train station. A bit unclean. Thin walls, could hear everything next door.

It is a bad Hotel !

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: New Hotel
When you open your room door a bad smeal will great you. The furniture in very bad shape. The breakfast is bad. The cream cheese so hard, you need a hamer to break it apart. I paid $ 97.00 for one night, which I think it is very high for a such bad Hotel. I will never gome back again.

Enough for a night, not for families with toddlers

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Location, staff.
Cons: Update
Location: Location is fine to stay close to Phila, just one restaurant nearby.
I chose this hotel because it's not easy to find free parking if you are in downtown Phila, so we opted to be by the airport and get free internet (didn't quite work well for my iPad) and free breakfast (ok). By the time we arrived they gave us a room where the 2 queen beds fit the room like a Tetris design and the AC was right on the side of one of them. The tv was from the 90's and if you are not careful you'll buy something weird with the cable system they have. The furniture is plain and basic. No microwave, no fridge, no towels for all your party. I must say that the people managing are very courteous and nice. Probably they were trying to take care of "all" the guests since we checked in with our 2 toddler daughters and kids are noisy...not going back to this hotel again.

Get what you pay for!

It was certainly like a cheap hourly motel! Served the purpose of a bed to lay on and a roof over your head!!

Great Place to Stay

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Staff was very friendly, courteous, professional, and most helpful. Even the Pizza Delivery guy! A great place for all!
Cons: Nice for the type of accommodations this hotel provides.
Location: Tour downtown Philly. Next to the Airport if you need a quick, safe to stay overnight. Good restaurant around the corner.
What a great location. Easy to get to off the freeway and next to the airport. They have good excursions to take you around the historic downtown area. The staff are most professional, courteous and knowledgeable; ready to assist you with any concern. The room was neat, very clean, but a bit compact. Morning breakfast was sufficient with a bit of variety. I'd book here if I were returning to Philadelphia.

Short Stay Only~No Frills

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Price and location
Cons: The bed and pillows should be replaced and the bathroom needs renovations.
Location: Ruby Tuesday's, WaWa and the airport are all close by
The Microtel Inn is a clean and basic motel for short stays. Everything was clean, but renovations are needed for the up keep and comfort of the bathroom and bedding. The wall paper in the bathroom is peeling due to the steam generated in the bathroom. The air quality is poor. If you turn the air on, its cold. If you turn the air off its hot and humid. There's no middle temperature. The advertised free WIFI is very difficulty to connect to while the signal strength of cell phone usage is poor. For an additional $15-$20 per night, its worth staying at another hotel for a firm bed, bright lights, small amenities, flat screen TV, and WIFI that actually works!

Better off staying at a $50/night place

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Mold in bathroom, ripped sheets, dreary room - not worth paying more money - it's the same caliber of place as a $50/night hotel. Save your money. Can't believe Wyndham endorses this place

Cons: see overall experience
My overall experience was bad and not worth the price. I provided hotel staff with picutres of the plug outlet cover that was missing and a picture of a pillow that was caked with dirt. The toilet seat was too large and could not be placed up and required the user to hold it up. Non smoking room had many burt marks and reeked of stale smoke, the hallways and reception area also stunk with smoke!!! Recommend the entire hotel be repainted to renew and remove the stale smoke.
