NIce Hotel, Loved the quite, nice bed, well appointed, helpful staff, clean, fashionable, great night of sleep. Note, the Liberty Bell and Liberty Sites all within a block of Hotel. Nice area, enjoyed Philly, and enjoyed it because of this excellent Hotel and location.

Wonderful hotel, great location.

Posted May 26, 2015
Location: Located near Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, The Jewish Museum, The Betsy Ross House, Ben Franklin's grave and great restaurants.
Literally a stones throw from Independence Hall and The Liberty Bell, the Monaco is a great hotel. We love the Kimpton Hotels and this is definitely one of their best (although we also love their Palomar near Rittenhouse Square). The Monaco is whimsically designed, very comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. There's a lovely restaurant on the first floor as well as an awesome rooftop lounge. The beds are super comfortable. Just a great hotel in a great spot. We look forward to our next stay here.

Can see independence hall from the rooms but rooms are not kid friendly - bathrooms don't lock.

Not worth the price

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: decor
Cons: hotel staff friendliness, cost
Location: great location if you are planning activities in old city, not the best location if you are a business traveler
The room I had was pretty small and the hotel staff was not very helpful. I stay at many hotels in Philadelphia for business and this one is nice, but not worth the price. There are plenty of other nice hotels with better amenities and similar prices.

Nice hotel in great location

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Cons: The lack of a full shower door is odd as one is cold while showering and the bathroom steams up quickly.
We liked the decor, great access to landmarks and restaurants, fabulous rooftop bar, and nice room.

Philadelphia の綺麗なホテル

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: 少しレトロな雰囲気のあるかわいらしい内装。
Cons:

Nice swanky hotel.

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Definitely not worth $611/nt Towels had hole in Not clean carpet Bedding was not fresh smelling Room service was nice Wine reception was not handled appropriately, the class factor was not there. No food of any kind to accompany. Many were just off the street to take in wine not guest When I am a paying guest the roof top needn't tell me what to wear. My outfit was a lounge outfit and 100's of dollars . Not jeans and sweats!

Busy Weekend

Posted Apr 20, 2015
The stay was comfortable and the décor was great! Bar/restaurant downstairs and rooftop were fun. Hotel was in an amazing location. Our only comment is that it was a really busy weekend. When our room was cleaned, it was not restocked with appropriate towels/wash clothes. We requested from front desk and a stack for 12 people was left on the counter in the bathroom - not folded. When we requested for additional bottled water, they were out. I would expect more from a $400/night room.

Cons: we wait a very long time for bellman to come and pick up bags which we wound up just getting down ourselves and they weren't able to find car
it was fine. overpriced for what you got and they couldn't find out care or our bags that we left at the front desk

High parking fees. No water pressure.

Parking was a round 40 dollars a night. No water pressure in showers. A fruit bowl in the lobby would have been nice.
