My husband and son said this hotel was convenient to public transportation around the city, hotel was clean and would definitely recommend for anyone going to Philly .

The staff was absolutely amazing!!! Rooms were clean and historically beautiful. Preserving the history is something they are doing a fantastic job at while keeping it modern enough to be comfortable all the way around. I will recommend this place over and over again. Convenient location and food in the hotel was amazing. I just can’t say enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. The staff all need raises. They went above and beyond. Thank you!!

A nice, older building located near historic sites , restaurants & pubs, public transportation & motorways. The place was lovely & clean. The beds were comfortable. The place was quiet. Parking nearby. The views from the hotel are not fabulous (you will see either an elevated roadway, a sound barrier, & an office building). But, we weren't tgere to stay in the hotel & look out. Wexwere therecto wander & explore.

The staff were so nice and accomodating! Our room was a great size and the beds were very comfortable. The location was awesome-very walkable to all of the historic sites and to great restaurants. I will definitely be returning.

Great historic hotel in convenient location. The room was comfortable and clean. Check-in was easy, very personable and friendly. Had a wonderful conversation with Alex, the bartender, who took time to talk with us and personally invited us to return and stay at Penn's View on our next stay in Philadelphia. Which we most definitely will do!

The staff was literally useless no matter what you asked them for, they either didn’t have anything or nothing was working. The breakfast was just cold horrible coffee with muffins all to go. The location was convenient but overall bad experience and will not return again.

This is our fourth stay at the Penn View. We love it here! Beautiful rooms! Fantastic Restaurant! A record breaking number of wines by the glass! Friendly and helpful staff! We cannot wait to return. It is a great place to stay during restaurant week or the flower show.

Overall, everything is nice. Was disappointed that bottled water was not offered - available but had to pay for it. Also, hot tea is not available with the coffee and muffins provided in the morning. Staff was willing to get it but only if they were not busy.

The Penn's View is my favorite hotel in Philly. It's old school charm, with large (king) rooms, beamed ceilings and gas fire places. It's a nice change of place from the usual upscale chains. Service is personable and attentive. The rooms are immaculately clean and quiet. The Panorama Restaurant on the first floor is a wine bar and Italian restaurant with an extensive wine-by-the-glass selection. Friendly bartenders and first class waitstaff. Indulge yourself, you'll be happy you did.

Close to all of the old historic sites. Easy walking. Parking right next door. Parking is now $35 a night not $30. Staff was excellent. Room was very comfortable and clean. We will stay here again when going to Philly.

Loved the property and the front desk staff! The restaurant was lacking. Food took forever and it was a prefix menu so that never should have happened. Portions were terrible and we had two steaks ordered one was under and the other over cooked?? Salmon was fatty!! Great location for New Years fireworks but not worth the money for food. 288 for two!!!!yicks

This was such a quaint hotel with a nice view of course depending on where your room is located front view (which I didn't have) has a beautiful view of Penns Landings. I loved the raw brick wall in the room, very spacious , bed comfortable - the only drawback is the jacuzzi tub - really not needed or used these days - very large if interested in using but would have preferred a shower stall. Staff was pleasant .. will definitely visit again and try a room with a fire place. It was a nice quick getaway before Christmas !
