Bel hôtel classique, super service, près du métro!

Posted May 24, 2015

Lovely historical Philadelphia hotel

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Lovely room with Persian rug, large closets and a window that opens. Great marble bathroom with delicious shower.
Cons: Nothing, keep it as it is, please!
Location: The hotel is in the middle of historic Philadelphia, with its beautiful cobbble stone streets and handome brownstones, easy of access to everywhere
Absolutely delightful stay! We are very pleased with our stay and this will now be our hotel in Philadelphia! The staff was very pleasant and attentive right from their warm welcome. Loved the cozy and pleasant dining room for breakfast. Our room was spacious, smelled good and was very nicely decorated, with a lovely marble bathroom. The hotel is in the middle of historic Philadelphia, with its beautiful cobbble stone streets and handome brownstones, very easy of access to everywhere. There is Parking right next door.

Very nice stay in the Old City.

Worth it- plesaant, clean, rustic. Pass on the free breakfast though. For a hotel such as it is, it could be much nicer.

Overrated

Thue: the location is right at the beginning of Market street in old city. But the condition of the hotel can't pretend to be anything fancy. Our room was very small, forget about jacuzzi: we didn't even have a bathtub, just a shower tub. Even though our room was on 4th floor, the noise from the highway was barely manageable at night. Breakfast is nothing to write mom home about either. The parking is right next to the hotel, but they are different company and will charge you $23 per day. Overall, I'm disappointed.

Average in old Town

Nothing special. Good staff and good to get free breakfast. Room was clean but was noisy next to motorway and could hear amorous couple from next room early morning. Wouldn't stay again but price was good and close to metro station.

First-Class! Amazing Staff!

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Everything! The staff really cares about its guests, whether you are a first-timer or not. Great location!
Cons: If the rooms could be a bit larger, that would help. But, seriously, nothing.
Location: Entire historic district entrance a two-block walk from hotel. Train station a 3-minute walk. Bus transportation 30 seconds away from hotel.
Stayed overnight for pleasure. Staff was amazing! Several times I needed directions (rail and bus) and they went out of their way to help me. As I left that evening for a concert, it was raining. Without my asking, they offered me an umbrella to use for the evening (at no charge). Rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit a bit small. Parking lot (separate from hotel ownership) attendant was extremely courteous as well. Location to historic downtown couldn't be any better. Same for proximity to bus and rail transportation.

Nice, convenient, good value for money

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Cons: Heat was loud, and breakfast was in a nice room but very ordinary.
Location: Right around the corner from the Franklin Fountain which has amazing homemade ice cream and yummy drinks! Walking distance to Betsy Ross house.
Room was comfortable, nice and clean. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.
