Great location and a great stay!

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The staff, the location, easy access.
Cons: n/a
Location: Right near the historic district - Constitution Museum, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross, "Independence After Hours."
First this hotel was easy to get to, as it is right off the highway. We stayed on the start of a lengthier than normal vacation and had the luggage to show for it. Our room was changed so we would be more comfortable. Someone helped us put our luggage on a cart, brought it to our room and brushed aside everything but our appreciation. Our room was a nice size with plenty of mirrors in the bathroom so doing hair was a breeze. We were right next to the historical area and a quick walk had us near Independence Hall, Betsy Ross, and the Constitution Museum. The wine bar is renown and they are able to recommend with ease. Breakfast was more than your typical continental.

Nice hotel convenient location with restaurants in walking distance. Parking next to building in lot. Continental breakfast was ok, have a waffle made yourself.

Boutique Experience

This is an absolutely delightful boutique inn akin to a charming bed and breakfast. Do not miss the chance to experience European old-world class and warmth! Highly recommended when you are in town.

Bel hôtel classique, super service, près du métro!

Posted May 24, 2015

Lovely historical Philadelphia hotel

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Lovely room with Persian rug, large closets and a window that opens. Great marble bathroom with delicious shower.
Cons: Nothing, keep it as it is, please!
Location: The hotel is in the middle of historic Philadelphia, with its beautiful cobbble stone streets and handome brownstones, easy of access to everywhere
Absolutely delightful stay! We are very pleased with our stay and this will now be our hotel in Philadelphia! The staff was very pleasant and attentive right from their warm welcome. Loved the cozy and pleasant dining room for breakfast. Our room was spacious, smelled good and was very nicely decorated, with a lovely marble bathroom. The hotel is in the middle of historic Philadelphia, with its beautiful cobbble stone streets and handome brownstones, very easy of access to everywhere. There is Parking right next door.

Very nice stay in the Old City.

Worth it- plesaant, clean, rustic. Pass on the free breakfast though. For a hotel such as it is, it could be much nicer.

Overrated

Thue: the location is right at the beginning of Market street in old city. But the condition of the hotel can't pretend to be anything fancy. Our room was very small, forget about jacuzzi: we didn't even have a bathtub, just a shower tub. Even though our room was on 4th floor, the noise from the highway was barely manageable at night. Breakfast is nothing to write mom home about either. The parking is right next to the hotel, but they are different company and will charge you $23 per day. Overall, I'm disappointed.

Average in old Town

Nothing special. Good staff and good to get free breakfast. Room was clean but was noisy next to motorway and could hear amorous couple from next room early morning. Wouldn't stay again but price was good and close to metro station.
