“Best Bet Close To Philly!”

We've stayed at this hotel several times while attending Phillies/Eagles games. The hotel is in close proximity to the sports complex (right across the bridge) and is much more economical then staying center city. We recently stayed and had an exceptional experience. The management was quick to check us in and gave us no problem when we asked to have our room moved later in the evening due to some rowdy neighbors. It's not the Ritz, but for the price you're paying it offers a clean room and good service. I have read previous reviews about this hotel and I was skeptical but once I arrived I did not feel the least bit nervous about staying her and I was a woman traveling alone with my teenage son. All in all, my experiences here have been fine and I will continue to utilize this hotel when visiting Philly.

“Room made me sick and felt unsafe”

There was a chemical scent in the room that made me lightheaded and nauseous. The front desk offered to switch us to another room, but the other room had the same god awful scent of bug spray and/or lysol. They suggested we alternate between open windows and AC. The window screen was broken and the unlit parking lot was right out our window on the 1st floor, so I felt very uncomfortable having an open window. The hallway door would not close and that was supposed to be a security door that opened only with your room key/card. The hallway had nasty stained carpet and lights that flickered. The bed was not at all comfortable. If it was not such a long drive home and if we weren't too tired to drive, we would have left. I don't expect anything fancy from Quality Inns, but I do expect a room that feels safe and doesn't make me sick. DO NOT book here. There are a million other places nearby.

“Good access to Philly, otherwise not great”

The hotel is a quick and easy 10 minute drive into philly, and even quicker to the ballpark. It is overpriced for the condition of the hotel, though. Be sure to check out Clany's pub one mile to the SE on 130

Perfect for quick stay and extremely convenient for business in PA or NJ.

“Okay for what it is”

The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful and the breakfast provided a lot of choices for the continental style. The bed was comfortable. The rooms are a little dingy with age, but clean. The whole place needs an overhaul, but it served its purpose for a good night's sleep. The TV cable selection was very limited.

“Not at all impressed”

The room was very small. I was under the impression that it was a hotel, when in fact it is a motel. The iron was broken. I would not even heat up enough to use and dripped iron-tinged water (and ruined) my clothing. Several of the outlets did not work either. We arrived in the lobby about ten minutes before they stopped serving breakfast and they had the doors locked. Eventually the maid cleaning the room let us in after we assured her that we would take our food back to the room and not be in her way. Room service woke us up in an effort to clean the room. We let them know that we would be leaving soon and asked them to come back later.They acted as though we were disconveniencing them although it was well before check-out time.
