Good location good price

For the money we spent couldn't ask for a better location. Didn't spend a lot of time in the room. It served it's purpose and wasn't dirty. All the convenience of rotten house square without the hefty price tag.

Nice and modern hotel in the centre

Hotel very clean and modern good location. Quite near all the most attractive places in Philadelphia. I went to the Mutter Museum in 10 minutes on foot and to the old city in 15 minutes. To the Market in 5 minutes. I arrived by bus quite near the station and going to the hotel in 20 minutes

Hotel close to centre of Philadelphia

Pros: Staff were accommodating,.. Cold water and fruit on the dek for us as we came into the hotel
Cons: Things that were not working to be fixed. Such as the cupboard door on one hinge.
Location: A good walk to the Italian market
People at the hotel were great. They were helpful and accommodating.

Pros: staff is nice, that is it, but hotel...................
You can hear almost anything from anywhere, street, other rooms etc, Voice isolation is really teribble, beside, the room is really too small,

Crappy hotel -- Horror story about an incident

Pros: Furnishings were pretty modern (despite the front entrance of the hotel looking really downtrodden).
Cons: Workers here need to be more professional. Door cards are unreliable. Housekeeping can't be trusted, will steal your things.
Location: Pretty convenient but there honestly are more, and better hotels nearby and all around. I truly regret staying here.
When I arrived there was a guest having a hard time getting into his room due to the card sensor not working. I discovered I had the same issue. Brian K. was nice enough, and quite apologetic. Asked if I had tried certain card tapping strategies and I ensured him I had and he hurried to get the issue fixed. Shortly after midnight my 2nd night, I asked the guy at the front desk if check out was at noon, which he confirmed. (I travel frequently and am used to noon check out times.) The next morning went for an outdoor run at 10:30 in order to leave enough time to shower, change and pack before noon check out. Upon my return at around 11:45 I found all of my belongings shoved in my bags & IN THE HALLWAY, UNATTENDED!! Obviously, I was not happy. Learned that check out was at 11, which was NOT what I had been told. Brian insisted he had tried calling my number several times but that it was going to some Dr's office. I asked that he double check and sure enough, he had looked up the WRONG person's # and he had my correct #! I had items still in the room and wanted to shower, then realized that they had hurried to get my stuff out of the room in order to renovate the bathroom. Are you kidding me?! They scheduled a renovation at 11 right after a guest's move out time and left no buffer time for delays?!? Insane. The housekeeping lady dug through and packed all my stuff, and I discovered that she had also removed the spare toilet roll I had packed. DO NOT STAY HERE!

A welcoming place to stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very professional, friendly and very accommodating. The location was excellent, within walking distance of major attractions, nightlife, transportation. I will definitely make this my go to place whenever I am visiting the area.

A bargain for any Penn- related activities

The hotel is clean and lean ( truly! the corridors are narrow but brightly lit). Its location can't be beaten for the price, and parking is discounted at the garage across the street. It is an easy subway ride to Penn/west Philadelphia and you don't have to worry about where to park when you get there. Lively area with lots of food opportunities AND within walking distance of center city activities.
