5 star staff at a 3 star hotel

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Staff, location.
Cons: Tart it up a bit.
Everything works. The airco works. The wifi works. It all looks a bit tired - but, frankly, at the price we expected that. We stayed in the cheapest room - end of the corridor. We had our own bathroom - but had to go out into the hallway five paces to get to it. We knew this in advance so this isn't a ding. The staff were wonderful. No request was too much trouble. The recommendations were all excellent. And they were cheerful. As for the location it'd be hard to be buzzier.

Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast as for early risers not much of option nearby.
Location: Take the Big Bus tour and if you purchase ticket at hotel reception they arrange for free drop/pickup at tour start point
It was Ok experience. For $ 150 a night the only benefit was it was near the main market. Not worth $150 a night. However room was clean and hygienic.

It was a nice hotel close to many interesting sites. But my room had the bathroom outside of the room and it was a bit inconvenient.

Great location

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Location: Many restaurants, Reading Terminal market walking distance, Jefferson
Check in was very easy. parking is at the garage directly across the street and is very discounted ($12 for 24hrs rather than $27). The room had everything we needed for a one night stay and was surprisingly quiet. The floor has a bit of a tilt, but that was not a big deal to us. The location is great, right by many restaurants and many attractions accessible by walking.

Good location good price

For the money we spent couldn't ask for a better location. Didn't spend a lot of time in the room. It served it's purpose and wasn't dirty. All the convenience of rotten house square without the hefty price tag.

Hotel very clean and modern good location. Quite near all the most attractive places in Philadelphia. I went to the Mutter Museum in 10 minutes on foot and to the old city in 15 minutes. To the Market in 5 minutes. I arrived by bus quite near the station and going to the hotel in 20 minutes

Pros: Staff were accommodating,.. Cold water and fruit on the dek for us as we came into the hotel
Cons: Things that were not working to be fixed. Such as the cupboard door on one hinge.
Location: A good walk to the Italian market
People at the hotel were great. They were helpful and accommodating.

Great place for the night

Everything about our stay here was great. The front desk was very helpful and actually cared about our stay. We were able to check in early which was very nice. The rooms are small, but very clean and comfy. The location was excellent and within walking distance to nearby attractions. Parking was just across the street and was pretty cheap for center city Philadelphia. I would stay here again.
