Superb locationPosted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: Convenience, super beds, charming staff
Cons: Changing rooms at pool area and better directions.
Location: Near Liberty Bell Center and Independence Hall
We had a club room which was fine but very confusing finding the lounge. Also nowhere to shower after using the pool so walking along corridors wet. Had a problem but staff dealt with it immediately

Business meeting stayPosted Sep 5, 2014
Room was facing pool, no natural day light(which is a little uncomfortable/messes sleep cycle) smelled chlorine too much as well. Otherwise would be great for stay w/family, close to center/great restaurants near by! Overall good place

Wonderful!Posted Sep 3, 2014
Location: Right next to South Street and the beautiful Society Hill neighborhood and Penn's Landing.
Being my first time in Philadelphia, I was extremely impressed by this hotel. The room was huge, the amenities were great, it was extremely close to everything. The front desk staff as well as the concierge were so friendly and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about it!

Nice hotel and close to beautiful sceneryPosted Aug 25, 2014
The hotel is located 2 blocks from Harbor Park a must see at night time. Hotel has a elegant lobby with clean rooms and comfy beds. The downsize of the hotel, no free wifi, no free parking, no free breakfast. I would still stay here for the fact it's dog friendly.

beautiful lobbyPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: I love the lobby - I am self employed and needed a comfortable environment to work in and the lobby just exceeded my expectation!
Cons: Would love to have free wifi in the room instead of just in the lobby area. But then with such a beautiful lobby, why stay in your room??
Location: It's within walking distances to many attractions including the big bus tour, which was just surprisingly amazing (first time ever on a bus tour)!
We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay at this beautiful hotel. Love the option of getting $5 hotel coupon to opt out of housekeeping service per day. Not so much for the money but it's environmentally friendly to not have towels replaced daily. We just asked for clean towels and extra coffee every other day and it's delivered immediately upon request. We used the coupons for a really nice breakfast meal at Taste!

Very nice! Great location.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Cons: They should have automatic doors from the outside. Doors are heavy and with luggage, kind of hard to maneuver. Bell boys not always right there.
Location: Location was close to restaurants and landmarks.
We very much enjoyed our stay.. Location was great. Dog friendly. Beds were very comfy. Room was very clean.

Perfect Location and PlacePosted Aug 19, 2014
Fantastic stay - staff was all very helpful from the valet staff to the bellhop to the front desk. The location is perfect because you can easily walk to Penns Landing or go the other way to the historic district. Bed was clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean (came close to running out of tissues, but I'm sure I could have gotten more easily). Valet service was great, yes, it was expensive $40ish, but I think that's to be expected for any center city hotel. But it was great that I was able to get my car to put something in or take out, and give it right back to the valet. I was also able to check out, but leave my car there for the day. Negative: the TV was quirky, it wasn't working in the beginning, but I realized that the input source was wrong, I finally figured it out, but I don't know what would have happened if I couldn't have figured it out (would they have moved me to a different room, would they have been able to figure it out?) Room was a little small, but no big deal. A/C was loud when it clicked on, so that could be a problem if you're a light sleeper.
