Nice hotel, great locationPosted Aug 28, 2014
Stayed in the Sofitel in Chicago which we loved so booked the same hotel in Philadelphia. The hotel was still nice but needs updating. Silly things that could easily be changed like the consistency of cleaning of the room were annoying ie one day no shower gel, the next day 3 were left. Not enough towels one day, then 4 the next. Most annoying was thin walls. Could hear the neighbour snoring each morning!

Great hotel in the heart of PhiladelphiaPosted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Centrally located within walking distance to most sites. Staff were always cheerful and helpful. Lobby and lounge area was quiet and peaceful.
Location: Great restaurants and shopping. Rented bikes by the museum of art and rode along the bikes paths for hours. Great way to see the river area.
Just stayed one night in this hotel but wish it could have been more. Sleeping area and bathroom were large, clean and quiet. Our king bed was extremely comfortable. We were the 4th floor so not much of a view but big windows let in lots of light. We walked to almost every site that we wanted to see.

Nice hotel, cleanliness leaves something to be desPosted Aug 18, 2014
Cons: More attention to detail by housekeeping staff.
This was our first time staying in the Sofitel in Philadelphia. We had tried to arrange for an early check-in due to our schedule, and we had attempted to do so via phone and were told someone would call us back, but no one ever did. We arrived early to drop off our bags, and the staff were friendly and they happened to have a room available. It didn't seem that the room was properly cleaned as we found peanuts and food on the floor underneath the tables, and certain areas of the room had not been dusted in some time. One of the lamps wasn't working the first night, so it seems it hadn't been checked before we arrived, but it was working the second day. Otherwise the room and our stay was pleasant. We paid a reasonable price for 2 nights, and had it been more I would have been disappointed.

Location: Location is nice for inter city events
Top sheet was missing from bed with holes in the duvet. Yet fabulous staff. Rooms are alittle small. Cute bathroom and nice menu for room service.
