Excellent

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Everything; the reception upon check-in was great and every step of the way staff was very willing to provide assistance.
Cons: The restaurant lacked service and professionalism.
Location: Right in City Center and very accessible to museums, train station, historical area.
Though I dealt with several miscues, overall stay at this hotel was excellent. The only downside to my stay here was the restaurant; 2 out of 3 dinners we placed our order only to have a server tell us they did not have what we ordered, then re-ordered and again were told they did not have it or were not able to provide the item for room service. Otherwise, the front desk and support personnel were terrific.

Great central hotel but car parking is steep

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Staff and their friendliness
Cons: Car Park access.....and the cost being transparent upfront
Location: Very central....everything is walking distance....be sure to visit Elixir Cafe for a good coffee
Great comfortable large room and facilities...beds were also super nice....car park is steep and if you are not travelling much on the car you could avoid hiring it until your exit date.

Not Much To Write Home About

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Small unimpressive lobby. Room was large but not very comfortable chairs and no charm whatsoever. Nice to have a small kitchen if only so you can make a cup of coffee. Micro wave - even a dishwasher. Small bathroom but nice fixtures. Our room keys did not work three days in a row. Door stuck badly so we were constantly slamming it shut and having trouble opening it. Nice enough house keeper but in the three days we were there our bed was only made once. This hotel has long term tenants in apartments so a mixed bag. No ambiance. Would not stay again.

Wonderful experience in the city

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: everything
Location: Love Park, The Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul, Franklin Inst. all an easy walk.
The location was excellent, right in the middle of where we wanted to be. The staff was wonderful and very attentive from the first moment we walked in the door. The room was very comfortable and also very clean. Our room had a beautiful view of the the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul and the Philly skyline. The two restaurants downstairs were both convenient and had great food. I will stay here again if ever in Philadelphia and definitely recommend Windsor Suites to anyone going to Philly.

Great location, great staff

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Great value for money, at a great location in a lovely big room. Rooftop pool. Delicious food at Con Murphys.
Location: Good location
As soon as we walked through the door staff were so welcoming and helpful. Room was clean, comfy and a good size. Rooftop swimming pool was a treat. It was my son's birthday and the staff surprised him with a cake and card left on his bed. A small gesture that made a big impact. Good location Phlash bus stop and other tourist bus stops two minute walk from hotel. Two minute walk to the station, direct train back to airport. Twenty minute walk to Museum of Art, passing Barnes Foundation. Two minute walk to Natural History Museum and Franklin Institute. Fifteen minute walk to Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Underneath hotel is Asian restaurant' two pubs and next door is a TGI Fridays. We really enjoyed staying at The Windsor Suites so much we are thinking about going back.
