Great hotel. Parking is expensive. $34 (I think) per night. Restaurant is mediocre.

The room was supposedly renovated, but it was poorly done and felt dirty in some places, particularly the bathroom. Not worth paying the full rate, other than for location.

Nice hotel within next to historical philly

Pros: Good location, friendly staff
Cons: The bath tubs were not spa tubs as indicated, but we're just regular bath tubs. Parking is $36/day if you don't book directly thought them.
Hotel was very nice and checkin was quick. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

This hotel's location was great for exploring independence park. Our room looked out over the very charming Quaker meeting house and was clean and comfortable.

Pros: I would stay again.
Cons: Better training of restaurant staff re acknowledging when customers arrive for a table. Also a printed children's menu.
Location: Very convenient to the historical area of Philadelphia.
For the most part, very good. Restaurant staff could use some training regarding greeting guests who arrive. There also should be a printed Kids Menu rather than the server reciting the menu.

Had to switch rooms after the first night because the air conditioning wasn't working, but the staff was very helpful and got us into a new room within about a half-hour of mentioning it to them. They had HBO so I was able to watch the season premiere of 'Game of Thrones'. =D

Historic Philadelphia

Great stay at this hotel. Staff was great. Clean comfortable room. The only negative was the address took us to the side of the hotel and we had to go around the block a few times to find the entrance.

Bad bathroom and very loud air conditioner

Shower tub kept backing up. Air conditioner made very loud noises all night long.

No shampoo in room, only stuff for one cup of coffee, no creamer or sugar, light by door did not work. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

Great hotel near the Liberty Bell

Pros: Convenient location to the attractions in the area and the subway station.
Location: Visit the Independence Hall and Liberty Hall
It is a comfortable hotel near the Independence Hall and Liberty Hall area, and it is also one block away from the subway station on the 5th street. It is really convenient. The hotel is mostly clean, but have some spots on towels as many of other hotels.
